Not having enough votes (due to the opposition by a small number of pro-gun dems from southern and midwestern states) doesn't change the left's ultimate goal of getting all guns.
I understand that, but shooting at people over ideological differences is reprehensible. That’s the tribalism talking and it’s a virulent expression of politics. People need to use their words and their votes instead of defaulting to fists and firearms.

I don't condone or justify violence and I also don't think any particular person or party is above it. Which is why its so critical that we have new leaders who are humane and decent and not advocating and inciting violence from the podium.
Absolutely not. Maxine Waters has every right to advocate for peaceful protest and questioning the humanity of people who advocate putting children in cages. Its her constitutional right...and she happens to be correct in exactly what she's been saying. I applaud her.
