As a former Clinton supporter and recent convert to Trump (explained on another thread), I feel that Clinton has threatened our national security. This disqualifies her for POTUS.
If it looks like Hilarity will, indeed, be indicted, she'll probably (suddenly) develop more "health problems" like she did after the Benghazi crap hit the fan. She would drop out and all the Democrats would be screaming how unfair it all is -- BUT -- they would immediately get ol' Joe Biden ready to run as fast as possible. Truth: If Biden ran he would win in a LANDSLIDE. I'm an arch right-wing Conservative, but I'm also a realist. Biden would kick everybody's else's ass, including Trump, and including Hilarity. With the passing of every day I become more and more convinced that Trump is actually a Democrat "mole" who has cleverly invaded the Republican Party purely to sabotage any chance the Right has of someone winning who isn't a stinking, hyperliberal Democrat. Why else would he make such a blathering ass out of himself. He has had his work cut out for him because he has to look like even more of a reckless, stupid, mouthy moron than Hilarity, but so far he's been a resounding success at doing exactly that....
If she is guilty of breaking the law she should be charged and tried in court. If she is guilty she should get whatever the punishment is for the crime. This isn't rocket science or brain surgery.
I do think with 2 or 3 thousand classified e-mails on her private unsecured server to include 22 Top Secret Special Access Program messages that she shouldn't even have begun the primaries. There is no doubt whatsoever Clinton put the national security of his nation at risk for what amounts for political reasons. Whether that was her intention or not, let the FBI decide. Any honorable person would have withdrew from the presidential race for putting so much classified security information at risk and in danger of being compromised. No doubt about that in my mind. As for Trump wining, I think he is a sure loser even to Clinton who has so much baggage and is so disliked by the major of Americans. I also think the Republicans lose the senate because of their insistence on nominating Trump. If there is a candidate out there more disliked by the majority of Americans than Hillary Clinton, it is Donald Trump. He should stick with reality TV. That is where he belongs, not in a presidential race. You have so many Americans out there who refuse to make a choice between two dregs from the bottom of the barrel candidates that in November we will set a record for the lowest voter turnout in the history of our presidential elections. Percentage wise. Of those who vote, most polls show "Other" receiving 15% or so of the vote. Other, these voters do not know who other is, never heard of him or her, but they do know "Other" is not Trump or Clinton. That is enough to get their vote. When the two major parties nominate their candidates that 60% or better of all Americans have a negative view of them, something is dreadfully wrong with our two party system. It is like our two major parties do not give a dang, do not care one iota what Americans think, what they want or wish for. Having Clinton vs. Trump in November is a prime example of the Republican and Democratic Party's telling all of America to stick it where the sun don't shine.
The first three months, you know the ones where all the emails are missing, she not only ran her offical emails through an unapproved, unsecured private server it did not even have basic encryption, you could read all her emails with a simple text sditor. She transmitted and stored the names of covert agents in the field in those emails. She discussed pending drone strikes. She had discussion points with foreign leaders. And it now appears Russia was probably reading them all in real-time.
