I can lecture you whatever I want and however I want as long as I do not violate the rules of the forum.

I can take a turn lecturing him. Not that it would do any good.

There is a difference between globalism and globalization. Globalism is when bureaucrats in Brussel are telling to the people all across Europe what they can and can't do. Globalization is when I can tell you what I think. There is a huge difference.

When the topic is American laws your opinion does not count

Because you are not a taxpayer or in other ways subject to the opinions you have about my country

There is a reason that Mike Rogers shut down the contractor use of the FISA-702(17) NSA Database queries that exploded under Obama as that was a violation of about 3 laws. FISA-702(17) are queries on Americans.

FISA-702(17) is a search of the system returning a U.S. person (702); and the “17” is a check box to initiate a search based on everything “About” the search qualifier. Example, if you put a date and a phone number and check “17” as the search parameter the user will get the returns of everything about that phone. Calls, texts, contacts, geolocation (or gps results), account information, user, service provider etc. As a result, 702(17) can actually be used to locate where the phone (and user) was located on a specific date or sequentially over a specific period of time which is simply a matter of changing the date parameters.

Remember the report that came out about this abuse? Probably not since you are being told what to think.

You sound like you've requested numerous FISA warrants before instead of just reading about them at Breitbart.

Maybe he's just a keener observationist than some dullards who post nonsese. Why does it take 2 years for agencies to review applications fo FOIA ... but just 2 second's for Rosenstein to get FISA warrants without having read the applications at all? Rod's alibi ... er testimony about his role in getting those warrants ... it wasn't significant because he hadn't read them before submitting them.

Free trade is very frightening to some people.

They hadn't heard that it's no longer 1700.

Err, they didn't. There were valid FISA warrants issued. That's the correct process, and it was adhered to. Trying to change the facts, and applying a facially absurd narrative doesn't change that.

"BOOHOO!! The FBI is trying to protect us! How sinister!"

Since you're oh-so interested in the abuse of power, you should read the Mueller Report. Your orange hero is featured quite prominently abusing his authority and otherwise blundering around.

    Agreed.

The hearings ought to make for some real eye-openers.

His reference was to a wall in Israel and there they use kilometers. I wish more Americans would get a clue about the world around them.

That it would. Nothing like watching the mighty and powerful wiggle and squirm while they fall.

The masses will eat it up. The media will exhort how wicked and corrupt the captitalist are, and AOC will get her chance to wiggle her finger and wag her tongue all while laughing a snicker, “Told you so”. Old rich white people are selfish pricks who deserve to suffer.”

    Better than a Roman Arena.

The only clue we need is: There’s America, then the rest of the world. What else is there?

Surely there's an opening for such brilliance in the Trump administration.

Nah. He’s not even close to being a selfish American, just another cloddish pragmatic collectivist blowing smiles at the ignorant and the ignominious. Kinda like Biden, just a different mob.

Please, no matter whether you're on the Left, or on the Right (as I am), remember two indisputable, proven things:

    1. A majority of the House of Representatives members can vote to impeach a president for ANY REASON IMAGINABLE! The 'reason' doesn't have to be BASED on anything at all! It can be based on something -- or -- it can be based on nothing!

Thus, the House could conduct a vote to impeach Trump for colluding with Russians, or, they could vote to impeach Trump because they don't like the way he combs his hair! Please understand THAT, if nothing else. The House can impeach any president it pleases, for any reason at all, or, for absolutely no reason at all. All it takes is a majority vote -- period!

But, only the SENATE can REMOVE a president from office....

    2. The United States and Russia (or, the old Soviet Union) have been 'interfering' in each other's elections and spying on each other since the Soviet Union first emerged into existence at the end of 1922. We spied on them and they on us all during World War II, even though we were allies, and after the war, the real interference began in earnest -- especially after the Soviet Union became a nuclear power! We have been adversaries from the very beginning of our relationship, forming an alliance only to defeat Nazi Germany, and then returning to subversion, sabotage, and intrigue against each other ever since -- by both Republicans AND Democrats.

Even if they manage to impeach him, the Senate would never confirm it. What's the point?

    Pelosi marshalling her troops:
Pelosi wants to continue harassing Trump, try to get those tax returns and financial records, look into the Trump Organization, that charity SDNY was concerned about, with all those hotels maybe some breach of the “emoluments clause”?
There is this appearance denouncing Trump is all the Democrats know how to do.
Don’t impeach unless this is popular?
She won’t push for impeachment unless she thinks this will benefit Democrats.
Rather hyperbolic, Trump isn’t a threat to Democracy, Democrats have appear to have fully adopted their own inflammatory rhetoric about Trump being a Nazi, fascist dictator.

But there is an interesting issue; should Democrats jeopardize their chance to defeat Trump in 2020 in order to “save democracy”?

We don’t have that survey of popular support for impeachment, if it showed impeachment not popular enough, should Democrats hold off on “saving democracy”?

Democrats realize Trump won’t get impeached by the Senate, so their hearings in the House would be just grandstanding and gesticulation, then a resolution sending the sentence to the Senate where it gets shot down, how would that affect the campaign?
