Should Liberals be consided guests on PoliticalForum?

Cons do need their safe space. But don't call yourselves refugees if you want to be welcomed by your comrades in arms.

 

I did not complain I simply commented on the opinion of another poster that mods in here "tolerate" conservatives. I agree.

By the way someone saying they are a conservative means nothing to me. I go by content of their post. Many liberals in here say they are a conservative.

 

If say on a poster to poster scale its pretty balanced. About half and half.

 

Forums who discriminate for political and social views are dumb. It causes them to lose any right to claim status as a public forum, which means they are liable for any illegal activities which goes on through their service.

 

Actually they are off the charts intelligent. If you and a couple other billionaires control the social media that the entire world use as a primary source for information, you can shape the narrative to fit your own agenda (which will always be your own personal enrichment and power).

By the way, it is not a fluke that many of these Silicon Valley billionaires are 1st generation immigrants from countries with despotic cultures (Russia/India), they brought their authoritarian tendencies from their home country. We no longer have a WASP elite protecting our own culture/civilization. They have been systematically eliminated from positions of corporate, educational and political power throughout my lifetime.

 

No one takes opinion forums as a legit source of information unless they already agree with what is being said.

If your request was entertained by the administrator, you would be proposing for a conservative-based forum. You might as well go to a Republican forum if you want that. This forum is already attracting more Alex Jones' as we speak, it already has a ratio favoring conservatives over liberals.

 

PF (as it is currently situated) is (essentially) a RW Echo Chamber that skews 80+% Pro-Trump RW.

^That is simply a FACT.

It is what it is.

The few of us that remain who support LW positions just need to continue to fight the good fight.

 

Let's hope that that 80% remains as inclusive as they presently are, and don't seek to ban Progressives.

Some(one) moderator is really really into tRUMP and I think gets upset when tRUMP is called out for the vile human he is.

 

I do. One continuously dinks me for stuff that is clearly allowed, and another doesn't.

The rules you think explain things clearly say that it's up to the mods interpretation. One continuously gives me points for saying something like "if somebody believes that pedophiles are upstanding members of the community, they're an idiot", that post will get deleted because I managed to insult somebody here, they reported it and I get dinged for saying something as obvious as fire is hot.

I'll probably be gone from this place soon enough. It don't matter. It's a small pond, and honestly, I'm tired of trying to debate the lefties here. It's simply not possible.

Well, it's probably not a mod, but some poster reporting it, and the mod agrees.

 

Interesting observation. Many of our right wing posters think this forum is infested with left wingers. Many of our left wing posters think this forum is primarily right wing. I think that's a sign that is pretty well balanced in general. yes, we have months where one side or another seems to have more posters, but all in all pretty balanced.

 

I understand how humiliation is unpleasant, but dealing the humiliation is tough love on our part. We liberals are just big ol' squooshy masses of love. Think of this board as liberals staging an intervention for conservatives. We are not sorry for pointing out how dumb your arguments are, and how immoral your positions are. It's necessary to get conservatives to face up to their failings before they can recover and become productive members of society again. We do it because we care.

The first thing you need to face up to is that you and only you are responsible for your failings. Conservatives don't get banned from places. People who lie and behave badly get banned. If your side is full of liars who behave badly, that only reflects badly on your side, not the people who ban them.

 

I am neither Liberal nor Conservative.

The fact that Liberals are imposing Totalitarian Censorship on the Internet males them immoral.

Definitely people who oppose Fundamental Human Rights for those who disagree with them are unpleasant.

I hope at least some Liberals will join Conservatives in supporting Freedom.

 

But whenever there is a poll about a L v R topic. It's always about 70% for the RW v LW. Maybe they vote more than those LW. Or those considered LW are middle here and not LW at all.
