But don't you first have to be rich enough to pay for the bribes necessary to get the contract? And isn't it too late to marry into the Trump family?

Because the song fund of Russia and any other fund, including military expenses, are regularly checked.

I chose my profession because I loved it, I never whined about it. I'm only pointing out to you that I'm a humanitarian first, American second.

Actually, based on your posts, you are a judgmental ideologue first, and somewhere much farther down the list, you picture yourself a humanitarian. A true humanitarian does not judge strangers.

Seems like the toilet lid scandal was about 30 years ago. I forget the price but it was outrageous. No excuse for it. College educated people working for the federal government who don't have a damn lick of common sense or sense of proportionality -- or just plain dishonest.

    Really?
Can you prove it? Last time I checked, Russia doesn’t like independent agencies looking into its books.

It was the pinnacle of idiocy. :roflol::roflol::roflol:

Visit the websites of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Social Protection, the Ministry of Defense, the website of the central bank (by the way, banks often close down in Russia if they find violations) and other ministries. As well as the site of the Russian government. And study the materials. Everything is in the public domain.

Can you name at least one country in the world that loves it? :roflol::roflol::roflol:

But let's not talk about accounting audit.
But maybe, for example, tell us - which countries' observers monitor the elections in the USA? :roflol::roflol::roflol:

This is a commonplace corruption and budget theft. There are such rascals in any country of the world. In the USA, in Russia, in Germany, in Britain, .... Because in these countries the ruling class is an oligarchy. As Vladimir Lenin said, the state is the dictatorship of the ruling class in the interests of the ruling class. But it must be admitted that in the United States, corruption and theft of budget funds are much more than in any country in the world. Perhaps that is why the debt of the USA is 21 trillion dollars.

I don't suspect that he would be into pilfering public funds; he might be eccentric but seeing as he's a billionaire already, I don't think he's psychotically greedy.

Man the guy tried to rip off the vets. He ran a fraudulent university. His supposed charity was used as a person piggybank. He has had to be sued repeatedly to pay his taxes. What more evidence does anyone need.

Being a Brit I don't have the same insight as you, so can only take your word for all of that. But please don't send me any links because I'm not very interested in his past life, only in what he does in office.

Just another example of the US government plundering Americans on behalf of greedy oligarchs and parasitic bureaucracies.

Naturally, many of our members will be more upset by the opening poster's nationality than they will be by the US government's thievery and wastefulness.

Just another average day in the totally corrupt US military-industrial complex.

America is an occupied country and has been for quite a long time.

    Occupied by who, you ask?

Why, the US government, of course.

It exists solely to plunder Americans on behalf of a globalist oligarchy and its servants. This it does through brainwashing, lies, propaganda and, when those don't work, outright coercion.

Get out of the moral gutter, and accept responsibility for what you said. Retract it if you wish, but you said "As to social justice, I don't care about that."

As to social justice, I don't care about that. There, I've doubled down.

That doesn't mean I don't care about people. Far from it.

So get out of your moral gutter, and accept responsibility for yourself and the audacity of your attack.

It wasn't an attack so much as it was an effort at clarification. Thank you for the clarification. Yes, you want to have it both ways, an awkward position to try to hold.

Yes, you "care about" people, but you apparently don't give a damn if they are imprisoned for nothing, and you don't give a damn about any other examples of social injustice.

Have it both ways Ocean. Sure.

I don't care if they are imprisoned for nothing?

Geeze, could you be any more ridiculous?

You're providing the perfect example of why I don't care about the "social justice" agenda of alt-left Progressives, and even less about the SJW's who promote it's objectives.

With all due respect sir, YOU are the one being ridiculous, asking me to believe that you "care about people" out of one side of your mouth, while declaring you don't care about social injustice out of the other side of your mouth. You thereby imitate some of our most notorious politicians.

Your projection eliminates the "compassion" the Social Justice agenda pretends to promote.

For example, because I reject the "Social Justice" agenda Progressives are pushing, you made the claim I don't care if innocent people are jailed. What an outrageous and pathetic claim.

Socialism is a failed concept. Social Justice is a failed objective. It doesn't seek equality, it seeks equality of outcome, achieved by the unequal application so called "justice".

Social justice is a term comprised of 2 words. I use the dictionary definitions of both words, and hope that you can too.

That you must tie the term to a Progressive Agenda suggests the lens through which you view world events.

Try as you may sir, you cannot have it both ways. You either have empathy for the less fortunate people in the world, or you don't. Your efforts at rationalization will surely be successful. Hang in there conflicted one.

    LOL

The fact you feel motivated to attack and judge me, confirms the lens you view the world through.

That prejudice will continue to condemn you until you learn the true meaning of the word, "compassion".

I use to work for a defense contractor. Problem is the requirement of military spec parts. An off the shelf hammer, will most likely do the job, but if the military requires a mil spec hammer, then you have to do the engineering, testing, and tooling for something that might only require making a couple dozen. That's why they are so expensive. The military needs to look at off the shelf parts for things that don't need to be tested at -40C- +100C. (I remember the -40C, not sure of the heat test)

From these last series of posts, I'm comfortable that I understand and possess compassion better than you. You're compassionate, but you don't care about social justice. Got it!
