Never mind that banning assault weapons in no way prevents anyone form legally or illegally getting one.

 

No... 30% of American families contain someone who plays soccer. around 40% of Americans declare they own a gun. We can safely assume that more than those own a gun. Gun owners own an average of 8 guns.

Now... Surely more than the 30% of families will have a soccer ball. Will half of the US own 3 balls each as you claimed? Surely not. I have never owned 3 balls at the same time and I have played football all my life.
