Skittish Professor No Longer Has Office Hours Due To Hoplophobia

'My jaw dropped recently as I read the nine-page syllabus for an online history class I enrolled in for the fall semester at the University of Kansas. Two full pages of the document include arguments against the Second Amendment and chides students who support the university’s concealed carry policy or take advantage of it.'

My guess is this is just liberal pouting rather than genuine fear.

Then perhaps the professor in question should resign and seek employment at a different facility of learning, rather than taking issue with established state law.

 

If you're in a professor's office you're already within close combat distance, and a Buck folding hunter pocket knife would do nicely if you are so inclined.

Never mind that anyone looking to kill the professor in his office won't be bothered by a prohibition against concealed carry.

 

I want to ask him why he wasn't afraid of an angry student having a gun before it was allowed, given that students or even people off the street weren't prevented from bringing guns on campus before the law changed.

 

They need to fire him for dereliction of duty.

 

The Dr needs to be fired for not doing his job. IE keeping office hours to meet students.
