    Ah, you all enjoy your 4th July celebrations.:cool: I would like to have some myself and I'd like to be here more often and be better tempered when I'm here, but this new work is flattening me. I walked my legs to a stump today and the amount of info I'm having to cram into my small brain is all falling out the other side as I keep cramming more in, my head's on a swivel.

    Home 10 minutes ago, shower, change of clothes, back out for 4 hours of yapping with my friend. Tomorrow to Edinburgh to work all day. Which is a pity as the Queen is coming here tomorrow and I'll either miss the fun completely or get stuck in a traffic jam caused by her exit when I'm driving back over from Edinburgh.

    See you all when I recover and you all stop eating and enjoying your holiday :grin:

    Rock shrimp, shrimp, shrimp etouffee and rice(didn't have crawfish), potato salad, green salad. melon for desert, pickles, tea and lemonade. Can you tell we like seafood..lol.

    The rock shrimp have a much harder shell, and are a smidge bigger, but butterflied and grilled and served with butter, they are delicious!!!!

    It's going great!

    Nope, Boston's harbor does not taste like tea. :)

    What else do ya wanna know?

    i lost power for a few days had to purchase a generator, it was called a spanish name forgot but its the type of storm they called it it was a doozy more people are still out of power for 5 days now and counting

    the heat was unbearable with no AC, 90-100 degree indexes just got my power back but others still suffer

    I think they are calling it derecho.. Perhaps it fits the scenario of the perfect storm. Glad you have your power back and can cool off..

    The shrimps were for yesterday...Today we had ribs, baked beans, green butter beans, coleslaw, red hot pickles, tea, lemonade, corn fritters and bread pudding..(had leftover biscuits from breakfast so bread pudding.) Got a huge pitcher of lemonade..this is a lemonade drinking bunch.
