    Heya SMW. [​IMG] Well we had one. It went up to 60 degrees the day before yesterday. Then by the next day went back down to 30. I thought it was Cheap Trick to play on us.

    So I vowed to have a word with Old Man Weather when I check out. [​IMG]

    Now before I admit that This Feburary is By any and all accounts The Warmest
    in My life,let me conclude.I already explained in a few posts about Global Warming.
    That the Seasons have shifted.Summer comes later and stays longer.Winter is
    Shorter yet sometimes more severe.Spring is much longer.But sometimes Spring
    has some winter in it.Summer has some spring and fall in it.Like good Italian
    Ministrone soup.You add leftover Ingredients like vegetables.
    I think it may have something to do with How Mother Nature NOW has Internet
    access.And she's been sneak peeking at sites like Smarties Bar and Grill.

    I don't think it has ever been 60 degrees in Feb. Thru-out my entire life until this year. For myself, I don't consider winter gone until March is almost over. So a few weeks still left to go.

    It's been many times....

    I remember it was near 70 in 2008. Obviously it was like 65 the other day with winds going 65. lol.

    Make no mistake.Old Man Winter is not gone.Do not start breaking out the
    party favors.There is probably at least one good Winter storm left.
    I dunno how the Seasons have got their watches all mixed up.
    But they did.Sometimes Italians dress up for St.Pattys day.
    Sometimes Irish order Pizza.I know ... I know.Dint used to be that way.
    But then who woulda thunk there would be so many Smarty's Bar & Grill threads.
    Can't be that many Smarty Pants at PF. But :

    LOL, was a bit rainy at times down here. But how does 70 degrees sound to you? Planting season begins around the 2nd or 3rd week of March. Low tonight is 58. But by Friday the high will only be 53 with a low of 29. But winter is just about kaput down here. Three days ago our high was 42 and a low of 23. But we expect wild fluctuation like that.

    Heya Pero. [​IMG] Good seeing you drop in here. I told Vesper, B, HB and Polgara to stop in too.

    Yeah my Aunt doesn't to live far from the Georgia border. She lives in Tenn. Said her temp was like 68. 59 today but says that rain is moving in down by her.

    A month from now it could be 80, however 50 would be normal.... This winter has been tame.

    I told you all about Mirror Pond, but tonight it's Deschutes Brewery River Ale. A bit lighter bodied than Mirror Pond, a little lower in alcohol. Tasty and easy to enjoy.
