Great spice. A coworker mentioned it to me. We travel to Mexico quite a bit for work and I've been buying it for years. Lately it's been showing up in US stores. It has a Lime and Chili pepper flavor. No ingredients listed on the bottle, but I love it and use it on anything I grill (usually garlic powder too). Tajin makes a similar spice, but I don't like it as much as Valentina.

    BTW, dinner was awesome!

A little leftover t-bone and steak fries from both my wife's and my dinners to add to our eggs and toast tomorrow morning.

Rat terriers are very lovable and loyal. It's the breed that
    - Duck Dynasty - Matriarch { Kay Robertson } has one then 2 of.
As her special couch companion.I have a few seasons of .
Kay is a very good cook and quite congenial.
The boys are basically little kids who live to goof off
as much as possible. That and hunt.

No and if they had it would have taken 4 hours and been even worse. Sometimes it is easier just to do things yourself.

You are right. I can't imagine someone walking away from a mess. They had no pride in their work. Embarrassing even.

One of the first recipes I tried with the spice was grilled corn.

Take an ear of corn; carefully peel the husk down without tearing it off. Remove all the corn silk. Spray with butter, dust with the spice then put the husk back over the ear. Grill for about 5-7 minutes a side. Once cooked, the husk will easily snap off at the stem and slide off the ear.

It is once again time for my homemade chicken vegie noodle soup.

Today is everyone else's Sunday nite whereas it is my Tuesday nite.

In 3 more days I will have a de facto Friday while most others are still in the middle of their work week.

I work on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesday and I have Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays off although I am on call in case I need to respond to a bank robbery or some other armed guard emergency.

The chicken vegie noodle soup is simmering and smells so good.

I just got home and fed the cat and then made my own dinner. There must be some football on tv somewhere now.

Big Deal.I make My own dinner EVERY single night.
Reason ... I don't trust others to handle what I consume.
Once you enter into the world of restaurants the operative
    word should be Caveat Emptor.

    Recipe?

My preferred schedule is Wed or Thursday through Saturday or Sunday although the past two months have been a bit more chaotic. If I can't use Sunday as "Steak Day", then it's the night before going to work.

Which happens to be my philosophy on cooking meals.
    Why start up and drive the vehicle { depreciates plus gas }
and let others be in charge of what you put in yer trap { I was
about to say Fat Trap }.
I prefer to put my own Fixin's in my own fat trap.
To my Likin',of course. My own sense of what to be added { No
hot sauces or outlandish spices [ especially salt ] }.
Now something like snacks { potato chips } is another matter
    altogether.
I found a truly addictive Potato Chip maker.
    Boulder Canyon
    Kettle cooked and No MSG.
    No Trans Fats
    Kosher
    No Cholesterol
    Vegan
and made with Premium American grown potatoes from an
    original family recipe.
Like I say ... They Addictive.Especially their largest selling
chip { Malt Vinegar and Sea Salt }.
    Sodium is only 200 mg. { around 14 chips }

I've got to pick up my lawn tractor from the repair shop then mow two acres before the rains come tomorrow.

I made myself laugh out loud typing that. Just so you know.

Who hates potatoes? What is it? The texture?
