My brother and sister were a lot older when I came along. I was a star in the sky. I asked and that's what my dad told me and I never forgot it.
My brother had the Wooly Bully 45. That was the flip side.

So when my pain in the ass older brother went out picking up girls his pain in the ass little sister was home playing his 45's.

From my list of "72 Things I've Learned in Life."
    37. Never order Mexican food in a state that ends with "Dakota."

Good song! I have this one by him on my iPod:
I'm a fan of military history and the Battle of the Alamo (plus San Jacinto!) are key points in history.

If I come across a "Little Rascals" or the earlier "Our Gang" on television I'll sit down and watch it.

Using Wiki I see that they made one feature film, "General Spanky."

I don't think I ever saw that movie.

Santana is great. Here are a few Hispanic hits on my playlist:

    An oldie classic -

    Heard on Kill Bill Vol2:

This one is a recent favorite. I call it "my Mexican rap song", but it's more than that. The production values are on par with The Beach Boys' production of "Good Vibrations"**:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EMjExxQyP8

The making of "Good Vibrations" was unprecedented for any kind of recording, with a total production cost estimated between $50,000 and $75,000 (equivalent to $370,000 and $550,000 in 2016). Building upon the multi-layered approach he had formulated with Pet Sounds, Wilson recorded over 90 hours of tape at four Hollywood studios from February to September 1966. The pieces were then cut-up into a three-minute song with several disjunctive changes in its key, texture, instrumentation, and mood.

Ah yes, Richie Valens was fun listening. Used to slow dance with first wife to this.

I'm using a wayback machine cause my brain is tired. It was the 80s when we danced and this was from the 50s.

Here's another good one from Valens. Too bad they died in that plane crash. What a waste of great talent. So sad....

Edit: For those wondering, I had trouble learning the stroll and can't do it anymore. No, I could never do that lindy whatever it's called, hop?

    Here's the stroll.

    I promise I'm done, now. ;) ee.

Sometimes, I get started and can't stop. I remember dancing to this, too. Man, loved to dance with her. Made my blood rush from my brain.

Had this red label Mercury record. I had a collection and lost it in the divorce. If my wayback machine is correct. :)

Not sure if this is pc, but it was great to dance to. Oh yeah....

Santo and Johnny usually was the last song of the night or the dj. That firehall had great hotdogs and beer.

Nah, they probably just got a leather belt across the arse from dad when he got home. The military had nothing to do with it.

    Bahahahaha

sniff...cough..just kidding man. Damn right I got the belt across the arse. Didn't work for me. :(

    hahaha :D
