Never.......ever..........allow children to have permanent markers. Poor animals have to bear costumes for Halloween soon, too.

So, the other day, I saw a woman of retirement age pushing a stroller. I thought she must be babysitting grandbabies. It was a double wide trailer type stroller.

As she approached, she told one of them to sit down, in a sharp voice. I thought that was odd because babies can't understand language very well and the child just needed his/her binky or something. Then she got close enough for me to see.

They were two small dogs!!! What the.......?! Wouldn't it be better to walk them for exercise?

    What a whackadoodle. Sheesh.....

I saw a couple riding bicycles on the seawall. His bike was pulling a trailer containing a black lab mix who was barking up a storm... in a LOOK AT ME kinda voice. I walked out on the balcony to see what was going on, so he got what he wanted! Tail wagging like crazy so I think he preferred riding to running. ;)

Also saw an older lady walking a pit bull. They came to a crowd of kids and she let them pet him. Then walked about 10 ft til he saw a little dachshund some folks had and it was all the old lady could do to keep her dog ftom attacking that little dog, he pulled her like a ragdoll. Even after she got him past them, he kept turning around and growling. Cant imagine why anyone would own such a dangerous dog. Not a pit fan.

They have not been interbred enough to breed that out of them and they may never be. They are bred to kill...to want to kill......to want to fight...and to be strong enough to break bones with a bite. They should be eradicated from the earth for our protection, but I know there will only be some akida or something ot replace them.

Sooo, I think they should require by law, muzzles when outside.....even when in their yard at home.

I like being pulled in a cart or wagon, too. I drive my car because it's easier than walking so far to a store. Dogs should be used to pull the cart, like they were meant to do, in some breeds. Something backwards about that.

North Texas; cold and snowy!!! Great! We need a good hard freeze to kill the bugs; it makes the summers nicer.

Bring it. I like the cold. I hope it snows.

I know. I'm bad. Can't help it. I would rather have the snow. I don't mind shoveling.

According to the Old Farmers Almanac we'll have cold weather this winter followed by a warming trend in the spring that will usher in hotter weather next summer.

These old farmers are never wrong.

42 at our place this am. Oaks are dropping their leaves, and a crap ton of acorns. Acorns don’t respond to the leaf blower like I think they should.

I like snow days when the office is closed. As opposed to today when (1) I left my smart card at home and (2) doesn't really matter because nobody else's card is working either. Geesh, a day without computers... might as well send us home. *wishful thinking*

I learned about building houses out of sticks when I was a kid. The wolf can huff and puff and blow your house down. I guess these pigs didn't learn the lesson?

I haven't seen any, yet. What does that mean?

We're on the borderline between mild & snowy and cold & snowy here in Denver. Either way, I'll probably have to buy my significant other a new snow shovel. Lest I be accused of something or other, she is from Wisconsin and enjoys getting outside in the winter for some exercise.

Get her a snow thrower. It's mean to make her shovel.

Geesh, the red tape involved in getting a temp badge makes one vow never to forget theirs again.

Russian hackers have an easier time...

Yeah, but you can't have as much fun watching them act like children, if you always remember your badge.
