You'll probably need spot for the sheet metal but arc for the frame. I don't have a spot welder, but do have MIG, TIG, gas and Stick welders.

It's almost 8 am. What's a guy got to do to get a drink in this place? I'll have an Imp & Iron.

    Ingredients:
    10 oz. Iron City Beer
    1.5 oz. Imperial Whiskey

    Directions:
Pour cold beer carefully into tumbler as to not create a head. Wash hands, carefully clean a shot glass inside and out, then fill shot glass with Imperial Whiskey--hold shot glass, do not put on bar or table. Carefully drop whiskey-filled shot glass into beer, and serve. No garnish.

I'm still studying the relevance of Dreams.Chances are sometime
in the last few hours or days you thought about your dad. Then Our
Dream process has a reason to dvelve deeper into our psyche
    or inner Id.
Freud made the observation that the general function of Dreaming
was to " fend off,by a kind of soothing action, external or internal
stimuli which would tend to arouse the sleeper, and thus securing sleep
    against interruption. "
    It's all rather complicated and involves stuff like - { Anxiety-dreams }
    or { Arousal-dreams }.
Sigmund Freud gave the name - { dream-work } where processes
occurring in the deeper, unconscious layers of the mind take place.
" Dreams may reveal themselves as the fulfillment of a repressed wish.
Or they may be a continuation of some preconscious activity of the day
before and may contain every kind of subject matter and give expression
to an intention,a warning or a reflection,or once more to the fullfullment
    of a wish ".
Be Careful what you wish for,
It may turn up in one's dream.

On the menu for this evening is breaded veal, boiled potatoes with butter and parsley, and sliced green beans, with gravy.

I went to a high end meat shop yesterday and got the veal there. Also got halibut and gyro meat for later in the week or next weekend -- whenever I get my next day off.

Today is my Saturday/Sunday -- only one day off this week.

    Yesterday I worked a 24 hour shift.

After 18 hours of continuous work you start to doze off. Good to be sitting down when it happens.

12 hours is my ideal -- 12 on and 12 off -- that's what the USN does onboard their ships.

USMC was always 20 on and 4 off. That's called combat conditions -- less than 6 hours sleep.

Yesterday after my 24 hours on I went home and napped for a couple of hours, then was up again. Seems like after a 24 hour shift your body thinks its wartime and so you don't need much sleep afterwards.

Last night I got a great nights sleep to recover.

Tomorrow I have another 12 hour shift to do.

So today I will run errands and plan on veal, potatoes, gravy, and green beans for dinner.

Plus my usual one glass of wine to wash it all down with.

A day without alcohol is like a day without oxygen !!

If you look deep(ly) into someone's eyes you see the little black spot which is inhabited by the real person that is inside there. Its like a cave where their soul is hiding.

It's always everything somewhere in the world.

Sunrise, noon, sunset, midnight ... .

All these things are just relative everywhere.

It goes to show that there is no such thing as time. (Hot topic in Modern Philosophy.)

We have simply invented the notion of time to reconcile the order of the present -- past present, present present, and future present.

    That's pretty interesting, Foolie.
I wasn't thinking about my dad but yesterday I was going through some paperwork that's my moms and I found a birthday card she saved from her sister. She held on to the card for many years. Her sister was gone for a long time. I had it in my hand and thought, what do I do with this? I cant through it out. It has meaning.
    Now Im saving it. lol

I'm reminded of a scene out of the Las Vegas Crime family movie :
    - Casino - with Robert DeNiro,Joe Pesci and Sharon Stone.
Pesci is in his car trying to score sex while also Impressing
the chickie pooh.Pesci is complaining that in Vegas you just can't
get good Veal.Like back in N.Y.city.That you gotta beat the hell out of
    Veal coming from Las Vegas.
I Make a really good Lamb dish. But I can no longer get Lamb
steaks in order to make.I cut and trim the Lamb steaks and then
tenderize { pound the crap out of and make thinner } and then add
a touch of pepper and Lawry's while coating lightly with flour.
I sautee in pan with olive oil until one side starts to bleed.
Then turn over and finish.I use a pan that was already sauteeing
nicely cut fresh mushrooms.Add a little red wine to the pan to deglaze
    and that is the sauce.

Sounds good foolie. Have you ever made leg of lamb using garlic? A friend of mine gave me the recipe once and I lost it.. She called it French roasted leg of lamb. Have you ever heard of that?

I'm not a fan of that style of music, but I played it and listened to it closely.

I could not wait for supper.

I made the breaded veal for lunch, with boiled potatoes, sliced green beans, capers, parsley, sea salt, pepper and white gravy.

White gravy goes well with any breaded meat. This is how chicken fried steak became famously served.

The veal tasted like chicken fried only better.

The capers, pepper, and salt made the white gravy even better.

The parsley made the potatoes better too.

I got two servings out of 2 patties and 1 big potato and a handful of green beans so I had half for lunch and saving the rest for dinner tonight.

Fresca-Red (grapefruit) drink was my beverage -- no wine in the daytime (Rule #1).

Cooking a big pot of pinto beans, to which I'll add browned ground chuck, chopped onions and diced tomatoes.... and of course, cornbread, sliced tomatoes and sliced onion. Since this is dad's fav meal and he's a wwII vet, it's especially for him. (But makes enough to feed an army). ;)
