    Getting ready to make breakfast now.

    I will fry some freshly diced potatoes for home fries, then when these are half done I will start frying a hamburger steak, and then when both of these are almost finished cooking, I will fry 2 eggs.

    As @Smartmouthwoman aka "Smartie" would say, "All the protein you would need all day long!"

    This should last me 6 hours until noon, at which time I will eat half of a tuna/mayo sandwich. Then the other half around 3 pm.

    Dinner will be around 6 or 7 pm. I'll get back to you on that later. I'm thinking about rice meatballs. If so then I need to buy an onion on the way home from work.

    No kidding!
    The bird tore my finger up to the point of drawing a good amount of blood. Thing was I kept saying too bad the birds wings get clipped. Too bad it sits in a cage so often. I had sympathy for the damn thing thinking how horrible it must be to have a natural instinct to fly and cant. Then it bit me and I wanted to choke it to death. lol

    When you clip their wings it is only temporary. The feathers all grow back.

    With clipped wings they cannot hurt themselves by flying around the inside of the house.

    So clipping wings is a good idea.

    Years ago a friend gave me a cowboy style hat. I was thankful but as you said, I thought where am I ever going to wear this? One day a bunch of us go out to lunch and I wore it with my tan western style boots to the Chinese restaurant and talked in a southern accent the whole time. The waiter was the nicest man asking so many questions. Im making up the answers as we went along and everyone at the table played along.
    It didn't take much to have fun back then.

    Good point about the toxic gas, but to get there you'd have to burn it (500 degrees+) http://www.straightupfood.com/blog/2015/09/24/are-nonstick-pans-safe/

    Agreed about birds. One day about 6 years ago a grey cockatiel flew into my tree. Couldn't find the owner so we kept it. My wife liked it and we bought a large $100 cage plus a playmate cockatiel. They lasted a month. Their screeching drove my wife nuts and we ended up giving the birds away.

    Bar "scotch on the rocks" as a "social drink" might work so long as you just watch the ice melt and ruin the scotch.

    Keep in mind that Protein is one of the last things you will burn.
    Fat is the very last.Thereby Carbs are best.You burn carbs first.
    It was just learned { reported } that actually Eggs are very beneficial.
    And Butter is far better than Margarine { Oleo }.

    When someone orders Bar whisky they are usually poured some
    inexpensive Rye whisky,
    Not to be confused with the once highly popular :
    Kessler Whisky { Blended Whisky }
    Bourbon has literally gone Rogue.There is about a new Bourbon
    distiller every month.They have as many flavored Bourbons as
    candy bars today. Even Jim Beam has gone that route.
    A new Bourbon which isn't ALL THAT but comes in a very pretty
    bottle is ... Bird Dog Whisky { Kentucky Straight Bourbon }

    Actually, having worked in a few dives... when you order a top shelf, you might be getting a cheaper brand (because they filled an empty Jack Daniel bottle with bar whiskey). Illegal, but it happens. ;)

    parrots are possessive because they are pack hunters, so when you adopt one they see you as one of them and necessary for their survival.

    when you neglect or abandon them, they will bite your eye out when they see you again, because they felt you were threatening their life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

    "My cockatoo bit my girlfriend in the eye! Help!"

    Most bar scotch is blended scotch like Dewars, Black and White etc. it is not really bad - just not worth drinking for pure enjoyment.

    More urban legend than anything else.All it takes is one smart cookie
    boozer to OUT a Bar that waters down or switches labels or actual
    intended drink { The real McCoy }.
    Real fast way of losing a Liquor License.

    I was into Scotch after college.Having tired of Beer.Scotch & Soda.
    I preferred Dewars White Label.No Scotch is cheap.
    The Italians always seemed to prefer J & B.
    My Old man kinda went for Ballantines.Like Matt Helm { Dean Martin }
    Of course back in the day stuff like Chivas Regal was The In Scotch.
    Today,you can't give the stuff away.
    Every serious Scotch snob wants special Highlands single malt.
    There are as many as there are little towns to Distill.

    Yeah, well it happens. Esp when owners are also bartenders. Im sure it'd never happen in those high falutin places you frequent, dumplin. ;)

    Overrated and it knows it.However it had a Great run for decades.
    I believe it was the favorite booze of many celebrities.Frank Sinatra,
    for one.
    I am very displeased with how Jim Beam { used to be the # one Bourbon }
    has kowtowed and now cares more about flavoring their Bourbon
    than maintaining a good 5 or 8 year aged Bourbon.Or their Green and
    Black label.

    Most any rummy knows his intended booze of choice.Just tinker with
    it a tad bit and said rummy knows.
    Whisky ain't like Popcorn or donuts ... dumplins.
    Whisky is always consistent.Even your regular Premium Beers like
    Budweiser,or Miller,eventually change their process a little bit in order
    to give either a fuller taste or more Hoppy effect.

    I don't get anything on the rocks anymore. I drink everything neat.

    I like mescal tequila the most.

    Gin in 2nd place.

    JW-Black in 3rd.

    Bourbon 4th.

    These each have distinct flavors to them.

    The single malts aren't all they're made up to be. I have tried all the Glen's and they're not much different from the blends, at least not to me.

    JW-Black is still the most distinctive tasting Scotch to me.
