Wonder if that old cigarette machine is still in the PF warehouse? The mods made me take it out of the bar, but what they dont know....

For my dinner tonight I was able to use more of my refrigerated leftover slab of roast beef.

I sliced off one slab from it for soup. This is about the size and thickness of your palm. Then I cubed this meat for soup.

For the soup I combined a can of vegetable barley with a can of stewed tomatoes and a can of chili pepper salsa. Plus a handful of dry thin pasta noodles.

This I heated and simmered for 10 mins.

It gave me 2 servings. I will have the rest tomorrow for lunch.

Right now it tastes really good while I am surfing this forum.

No additional salt or pepper needed.

Amazon. They even have some portable ones that work. One that you can fill with water or sand. Not perfect, but it works. A 40-45lb bag is somewhat portable, but they are tricky to work with - which can be a good thing.
