Surprisingly enough, Chevrolet is VERY interested in getting feedback about their dealers. Ive been nice up to this point, but it only took one surly service rep to open this can of worms. :boxing:

I would never buy anything made by GM or Ford.

That leaves only Chrylser/FIAT as far as American cars goes.

Married people tend to hump on Wednesdays while singles have to wait for the weekend to find and pick up a date.

Happy Hump Day to you too Mrs. Smartie !!

I used to be in love with GTO's by Pontiac.

    They don't exist anymore however.

    Same with T-Bird by Ford.

WhY ? I know it's part of our culture. To Love our new car.
But a car { inanimate object cannot Love back }.
Even a cricket can probably Love back.
You seldom hear one saying they love their Cricket.
Maybe their New Bug { VW } but seldom their pet raccoon or
    squirrell or even Pig { Arnold as in - Green Acres - }
I'm glad my favorite Philosopher/Naturalist Henry David Thoreau
never had a clue as to those Wild Running things known as automobiles.

Now it's the word { T-Boned }.It's used all the time now.
They came back with the Charger and the Challenger.
The Shelby Mustang and Camaro Z/28.
My last new motorcycle was a 2013 CB 1100 a knockoff of the
very popular and trend setting Honda 750 Super Sport.
    I get occasional compliments on.
I refuse to even consider a Harley motorcycle. They are merely
macho bikes for guys who need to blip their throttles and show of
the loud sound.Or for those who cave to peer pressure. If it's not
    a Harley ,it's not really a motorcycle.
Harley are overpriced and not performance based. Many Japanese parts
    also.

New cars are awesome. Ive driven clunkers most of my life because cars never mattered to me. Now Im more of the mindset that if Im working, Im driving a new car. Wifi, bluetooth, sirus radio, backup camera, remote operation and monitoring from an app on my phone. If it could cook, Id marry it. ;)

I planted an olive tree this spring. Does that mean I have an olive garden?

    New cars are mostly plastic.

This may be in vogue now.

But I prefer metal instead. Always have.

We buy throwaways now. Last one we bought was a Taurus. 3 grand. Had it about 8-10 years. Put about 2 grand in it. Still running. A little duct tape here and there. We're not proud. A means of transportation.

Now the trucks a different story. We bought that new. I really like that truck. Cant love it because it doesn't smooch me back. lol

I thought Cody only alerted to the word go he also alerts to the word truck. He loves the truck. He sits behind the driver so he can look at the traffic.

My Jeep Cherokee is still running like new.

2001 makes it 16 years old.

New engine, new transmission, new catalytic converter, new radiator, new A/C, new lights, new springs, etc.

Definitely NOT a throw-away. You just replace whatever has worn out and it keeps on going.

Paint job still looks good too. I mostly park it in a garage or in shade.

    250K+ miles.

I traded in the 2001 Dodge Intrepid my brother left me when he passed away. It had 210,000 miles and the only thing i ever replaced was the original battery... in 2014. Amazing car, but I knew anything major was going to cost more than the car was worth to fix.

I have a friend who'd like to work part time, and my new car sits on the parking lot 8 hrs a day, so Im thinking of signing us up for Uber. Split the profit 50/50. I've talked to a few people who use or drive for uber. Any of y'all know anything about it?
