Since a lot of people live electronically, file their taxes electronically, and their phone is their filing cabinet, I would think it easier all around.

But that's just me, the resident print-stuff-lick the nasty envelope-waste the postage person.*

*I don't do all of the above, it's a team affort.

Installed a water heater today. After a lot of cursing and at least three trips to the hardware store ....gotter done. Now...we are on a fixed income and our water heater went kaput. For a while we heated water with a bucket heater. Anyway....found a water heater at a thrift store....no kidding. In fact, there were two of them. AS IS ......24.99. So I picked it up. Took out the old heater. ...still full of water wouldn't drain. And bought a hand truck. And brought in the "new" one. We have hot water! All is well. Just think ....a water heater for about a hundred bucks it was from a remodel. It is a thing of beauty..if i must say so myself.

Hoping my water heater is disaster proofed for a long time. Running additional gas pipe, water line and an electric outlet for the power vented one was a chore. Despite having a fair amount of experience in all that, I think replacing the air conditioner condenser may be a repairperson job this Spring.

So Tuesday morning I am headed to work around 7 am. Walk on the porch and go to take the stairs. Seems the ice formed on the concrete steps has decided to plot against me. Five steps later I am soaking up freezing water and wondering if it is safe to move. I little sore, but I have this problem every once and a while the last two days. I'll move in a normal fashion and I get a radiating shooting pain that seems to branch out. I am guessing I bruised a nerve and the muscular swelling is pressuring a nerve? What is your experience?

I wonder how the Skiing is at one them poplar Soviet Gulags.
Not to be confused with the nice WWII Movie :
    - The Heroes of Telemark - { 1965 }
I agree with famous British actor Richard Harris.
On fellow british actors ... " They're like bank managers. So
sweet and careful.Who needs them ? We are suffering a plague of
good taste.Give me Mickey Rourke any day.To project danger.
That's what makes acting and life interesting. "

Same feeling here as to posting. It need be either funny, clever
or dangerous.Never Safe. What does safe get one.?

Sometimes it is a good idea to have it done by someone else. Not against it..worked for other people all my life.

A lot of things that seem complicated often are not. I repair irrigation systems from time to time. There are about three common problems with those. A lawn mower that will not start is usually one of two things. Probably have replaced the fuseable link in the dryer twice. Timer in the dryer and washer once.

Water heaters aren't expensive.A dishwater can cost more, usually does.
A water heater is basically a porcelain tank with wires.

    No ... Spark,compression and fuel.
The problem being an engine that is seized {blown head gasket }.Or won't turn the crankshaft.
meaning the Pistons are froze, usually due to water getting in and rusting
out the internals. An engine left outside for years can still turn the crank if
it had enough oil and the environment wasn't really humid.Like leaving an
engine on the ground. If someone buys a very used old engine
and places in storage, make sure to get the engine and block off the ground.
Even in a dry cement garage.

I take Naproxen Sodium now and then. It has done wonders for my poor back.
Go price a gas water heater . You may not consider over 500.00 expensive but I do.

Our new water heater calls himself Ozymandias and he told me to give you his reply to your post:

    There's a product called - Relief Factor - and it's all natural.
Takes about 2 weeks to work but once it does, most people ,who
suffer sore backs and aches & pains ... swear by the stuff.I think a
started kit cost $ 19 .I think it last a few weeks.
I don't take it but have been taking a supplement the last 15 years or so
to keep from developing sore knees and such. It's Called Move Free
and Wal*Mart carries it.Most Grocery stores also.It too takes a couple
weeks to work. It's for joint health and has Glucosamiine and Chondroitin.
Plus Vitamin D3 { very important } plus other stuff like MSM.
I swear by the stuff.I take just one pill a day with a meal.
Occassionally I'll forget to take one and will feel a slight effect a few days
later for not taking Every Single day.It cured my sore knees and occasional
    sore joints.

A bit more costly but I want an instant hot water heater. My husband says my wants won't hurt me.
