It's not technically a Christmas song, but my Mom always played the 45 on Christmas eve while we put up the tree, so it's always been my connection.

That is a very good choice.I saw a triple LP album at
Barnes & Noble { Mannheim Steamroller } which was reasonably priced.
Plus a couple Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas LP's.But they were too
thin.Probably less than 150 gr.Too thin to play well.
I would like a Nice Vienna Boys Choir LP.Or a master recording from
inside a Great Cathedral with a Christmas Theme.
My Church growing up and School was the finest in all Cleveland.
That is where the Nuns { Dominican } taught me.That Parish had a
beautiful, large Church with a big balcony and big Cathedral Church organ.
My Old man was not a singer so he was not in our Parish's men's choir.
Our Parish had an excellent Organist and Men's Choir. That Organist gave
me weekly piano lessons for 5 years.

Not a fan of cordials or Liquuers but during the Christmas holidays
I like sweet booze like a Nice Tawny Port.I bought a 1/5th of 20 yr.
Tawny Port 3 weeks ago and down to a few ounces.I used it for
Chicken noodle soup also.I also got a split { half 1/5th of Porto }.
Or Vintage Port { Deep purple } as compared to a Tawny which
is copper or golden colored.I remember my old man got a 1/5th of
that stuff { Liquor } with the gold flakes suspended in the fluid.
I never trusted that stuff. He tried to get me to drink a small glass
but I hesitated.I dint know how long it has been sitting around.
My Old man { Like my older brother } had a bad habit of experimenting
with other people on stuff they were too cowardly to try.

BTW ... I saw an LP at Barnes & Noble the other day.It was a
Dean Martin LP I never knew existed. It was a solo LP of him singing his
favorite Italian songs. The back jacket had the songs named in Italian.
I was seriously going to buy it.I still might.I have I think 3 Dino LP's
    { all old and machine cleaned } and as many Dean CD's { 3 or 4 }.
I also have a 10 LP Enrico Caruso boxed collection of Recordings.
They are 33 rpm and in like new condition.I've played like 3 of them.
I think I will play a few more in the coming weeks.I broke out a New
Maria Callas LP I bought in the last year.
I played the 2nd side last night while finishing the dishes.
Here are a few songs :
    Casa Diva
    La mama morta
    Sempre libera
    Vissi d'arte
    O mio babbino caro

    A Warner Classics LP

Gluhwein is a traditional Christmas/Holiday drink from Germany and Austria. It's basically mulled red wine with fruit and spices that's served hot/warm.

Different people have different recipes but we heat up a pot of Burgundy red wine and some cranberry juice, drop in a ball full of mulling spices, a couple cinnamon sticks, some cloves and then several slices of orange and lemon. Then you let it all simmer on the stove until all the flavors work together (usually 30 minutes). When I want to give it a little kick I'll pour some spiced rum into the mix (or you can pour a shot into your mug).

You drink it hot on a cold Holiday night next to a roaring fire and on Christmas Eve you leave a mug out for Santa so you can get yourself off the naughty list.

Love that song - my wife's got that album. :)

Over the years she's put together an awesome collection of Christmas music, ranging from Medieval hymns to X-mas Rock and Jazz and everything in between.

I hope you find what your looking for.

Years ago a really nice guy I did some work for was moving. He had a stack of 78's, still in the original jackets and in excellent condition that he wanted me to have. They are so thick and heavy compared to the old albums we had saved. I saved any albums people were getting rid of over the years. It just seemed like a total waste not to. Now we are enjoying them. Its a stroll down memory lane with I was doing this at the time or I remember that. The old is new. If that works the same with people, we got it made. lol

The Catholic grammar school I went to has a large church and shrine. The church is beautiful. A great memory is when the church was filled with all of us and the organ started playing. We filled that place with sound. The high school had the Cathedral.

How many times in your life have you sang this, Foolie?

Not sure this qualifies as a Christmas song, but close enough...

Cyrus Chestnut & Friends did a great cover of Vince Giraldi's A Charlie Brown Christmas and it's one of my favorite Christmas albums.

This version of "Christmas Time is Here" features Vanessa Williams and the Choir Boys of Harlem...

If they didnt want to try it and you did you get brave points. My brother was the opposite. If I ate it he wouldnt. Ahahaha he was so fussy with stuff. Now he eats it all and I tease him about the years of good food he missed out on.
I never really was big on sweet drinks or mixed fruit drinks. It was chilled vodka and a chaser. The chaser depended on how far I want to run with the vodka. I bought the Frangelico because Im making cookies with it. I switched out rum for Frangelico. I dont like the taste of rum. The Frangelico is pretty good in coffee every now and then.

Im going to check that Dean Martin LP out.
Those are some great voices and music to listen to. Dean Martin's voice had such a strong tone. But it was also a warm tone. His style made the lyrics come to life. Timeless music.

lol I had this hot car and drank way to much of that. Someone wask driving the car and I went to light a cigarette. I never really smoked cigarettes. I put the hot car lighter to my lip instead of the cigarette and burned my lip. I had a round circled coil burn on my lip for a while.
Not to be out done with falling down on my birthday from way too much Jack Daniels everyone was buying me. Falling off the curb and hitting my forehead on the sewer grate. I had a lump on my head that looked like a unicorn horn for a while.
I had some nerve back then.

That may be how Strega finds the poster models for their label.
They just had to bring the outfit including the pointy hat and broom to the ER to find the right look. ;-)

As far as a car lighter and getting the wrong end.
Musta been the Pot.Because Maryjane and driving a car don't
