    The Basin in the Big Bend National Park in Texas has huge spiders, Tarantulas, they are scary and beautiful at the same time;

    Been working on my filter pond. I can fill it only 3/4 full because of a leak I can't seem to chase down. I put in some water Lilly pots and some Pickeral rush. I started with just a couple of water Lilly and one store bought Pickeral rush. 20200402_161828.jpg 20200402_161821.jpg It is a work in progress. Need to install my plumbing and buy some water weeds like cabomba. But the water is clear so far and that is a big improvement. It was pea soup last year.

    When I was young lad I was working my paper Route and a plane crashed at the end of the block. (Detroit) After I first got married I was l had just moved into this house with my wife and kids and a jet plane crashed in the field behind my house. (Virginia Beach) No personal emotional attachments to those planes but I know the carnage they can do when they crash. I still get edgy whenever I hear a plane or helicopter flying by my house. Thanks for the song.

    I met a guy who was friends with a Pot dealer.He owned 2
    Tarantula.They were both big and in separate tanks.He enjoyed greatly
    taking them out and passed them around to show how cudely they could
    be.He fed them white mice.The Guy was kinda off his rocker to begin
    with.I also met a guy { pot head } who owned a ferret.
    That Ferret would run around all over his room and could bite.
    I once owned a Rhesus monkey.

    You'll have to let the water get down to level of the leak. Even then it's hard to find. I plant for every gallon should help filter your water and circulating the water helps. I just sold my house with two ponds. There a lot of work but so enjoyable. My biggest problem was the Egrets raiding the pond. One year they cleaned out all my Koi and that was a big loss of money. Restocked with feeder goldfish. Good luck with that leak.

    The water level where the leak starts has been established and if the pond is not filled any higher it doesn't leak. The pond has been drained and resealed with fiberglass resin. It is just that one leak I can't find and frankly I am tired of trying. I will just keep it like it is. The pond circulated water goes into basin with rocks into the top pond and then through a pvc into the bottom pond. The top pond also has plants. I am pretty sure it will look good when the plants bloom and grow. I am also going to put a bubbler in the top pond. It will consist of a large air stone in a container of rocks.

    My Corona Virus Thought For The Day

    Every morning I Donna Reed pack a lunch and wave to someone I love who is an essential employee. They drive off into the virus cesspool. I have family members working in hospitals in this virus cesspool.

    If you are being told to say put, stay put. People are putting their health and lives on the line to keep things running. Respect that.

    Also, if they can hand out cash to people sitting home and safe, they need to double down on the people who are essential and walking out that door into harms way everyday, to keep this country running.

    Interesting to note non college grads are basically running our society. Besides health care, we're counting on people in low-paying jobs to keep us going. Grocery and drug store clerks are new American heroes. :flagus:
