It just goes to show you the ignorance these morons posess when it comes to home defense.

His first one got me, just shoot a couple of rounds off the balcony....
    1) A normal American does not have a security system to see an intruder coming from a mile away, by the time you know you need a gun, they are already in your house.
    2) Firing off in a random direction is extremely unsafe.
    3) IF the criminal is still outside, he saw you shoot 2 shots from a double barrel shotgun, and he knows you are now empty.

But the firing through the door made my jaw drop. You don't know what is on the other side of that door. What if it was a drunk friend who had nowhere to go on a cold night and in his drunken state he had a lapse in judgement and thought it best not to wake you? Now you just blew your buddy's face off.

I tell ya, even most of the gun grabbers must be cringing after these statements, I can't believe this meat head is our VP....

I agree. Joe's a moron when it comes to self-defense, especially for women. Glad I voted for him for other reasons! I'd feel like an idiot if I'd voted Joe for Chief of DHS or something.

I hope he does win the Dem nomination in 2016. It would at least be a push over for a Paul/Rubio ticket, maybe even a Rubio/Ryan ticket though that is a bit of a stretch.

Would your other reasons be these comments?
    Those reasons?

The fact that liberals love everything this moron spouts out of his mouth is more indication of what a danger to society these people are!

You gotta love Joe, whatever hits his brain comes out his mouth. I am a firm believer in the shotgun for home defense, however there is no perfect firearm for home defense though. Handguns, shotguns and rifles all have their pluses and minuses.

Rand Paul for Prez... really? All a person would have to ask him is would he use a drone to prevent a terrorist attack on US soil. After last weeks filibuster I for one would like to see him try to answer that.

Ryan might run for President. I think the AARP voting block might be tough for him to win. Also those budgets and privatizing of Medicare and Social Security plans won't fly.

Rubio has a problem with immigration.

It is a bit early for him, I agree, but he raises a bunch of constructional questions that him, Rubio, Cruz, and other junior senators are raising that is going against the general establishment of the old bulls in the house/senate. Just yesterday, Cruz was asking if restricting certain firearms was akin to restricting certain books. Why? It has similar parallels between the two rights. These books/weapons aren't approved by the senate/house but these books/weapons are. Choose from this approved list of books/firearms and you won't run amuck of the Federal Government.

The SCOTUS has already stated that constitutionally speaking, weapons in mass circulation and common usage are fit for militia service. The AR-15 is becoming one of the most widely used rifles in the country and would fall under the common usage clause of their opinion in the McDonald (I think) decision. D. Feinstein wants to specifically ban the AR-15 because she doesn't like it. (*)(*)(*)(*) her. If she had her way, there would be no guns in the United States! If people like her started branching out and saying "this person doesn't get fifth amendment protection because we believe that him, and people like him, should be required to testify against themselves due to these criteria... etc."

This line of reasoning is unconstitutional, it is unlawful, it goes againsst basic tenants of human rights and the supremen law of the land, and it is not right from a moral standpoint. A right doesn't get taken away because some old (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) in California decided it was too scary for you to own. This goes for every right in the bill of rights and the rest of the constitution! I really don't like what a lot of people on this sub-forum say about restricting my rights to own what weapons I deem necessary to maintain my personal sovereignty, but I will defend their right to say it because it is a right, not a privilage.

I will support, and continue to support, people that follow my views, and right now, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and several other conservative Senators and House members. I will continue to write my Senators and House rep about my views as a registered voter who votes in all elections that come to my door step. I will continue to speak my mind and let my opinion be heard.

Think about what Biden said. He said that the rifle was harder to handle than a shotgun. So why would the rifle need to be banned then if it is less effective than a shotgun?

He'd just have to turn it around to assassination vs. stopping an attack. If the AG had done that, the filibuster would never have happened. Holder is just not intellectually adept enough to be AG.

Romney/Ryan did better with the senior citizens than they did with the population at large.

I think he's the best shot at this time.

Biden is dumber than a bag of hammers and not as useful. A 5yr old knows more about guns than this moron. Anyone who takes his advice on self defense might as well cut their own throat.

As a senior I can say this; The big problem in the senior voting bloc is none other than AARP as it is a mouthpiece for the socialist movement in Washington DC. The AARP is the senior group of and by the wealthy but all too many follow along like lemmings because they don't know any better. That's why my wife and I joined AMAC, a conservative group for older Americans. Our politics are more closely alined with what they want for seniors now and in the future.
As to Ryan we'll see how things develop in the next couple years.

You cant be impeached for stupid. If you want to rage against the machine, it might help to learn the rules the game is played by. Otherwise you kinda create a face palm moment for yourself... just saying like

You know exactly what I meant so don't be stupid. If you want I can pick apart every single thing you say, how you say it and words you use but that's a different game.

Sure do that if you have nothing better to do on a lazy Sunday. It still doesn't change the fact you can't be impeached for stupid.

I thought the whole drone thing was handled by Holder quite well. Had he given too many details it would have led to more questions.

I see Paul playing the drone card because he knows that appeals to a certain segment of voters. But if you think if he were elected that drones would go away, you are being naive.
