I didn't say that there's no affirmative action occuring, I SAID THAT IT'S BEING PHASED OUT. Especially in colleges. Government moves a bit slower, but I've filled out lots of applications in private business, and NO I never saw a AA questionaire. Government is slow on everything because everything done by the government is a sop to somebody.

I actually don't support AA or quotas, I just don't think you get to play fast and loose with the facts to win. If they were abolished in all 50 states, that would be fine with me. Just quit with the BS and have an honest conversation on the topic.

Try doing business with any big city, or large company..like the auto makers.
You'd be surprised how the required percentage of "minority-owned" businesses increases each year.

Try doing business with the city of Detroit if you're white.

EARTH TO MICKETTO: ANYTHING can be shown to be ANYTHING according to ANYBODY'S "data". Having "data" doesn't mean squat. In fact the best "data", is the data of your eyes and your ears. For instance, if "data" showed that a country was egalitarian, and it's wealth was distributed very equally, yet you see some people living in mansions and driving new expensive cars, while others live in poverty, you know the data is FALSE and unreliable. Yet the data of your eyes and ears weren't fooled were they ?
