It wouldn't come ANYWHERE close to 80.000 children who starved to death.
And being killed by a bomb is far more humane than being starved to death.

Interestingly enough, while the U.S. mainstream press failed to recognize the evil of killing children, a terrorist brought the issue to the forefront in 1993. The terrorist was Ramzi Yousef, who was convicted for bombing the World Trade Center in 1993.

You had your chance to be friends in 1979.

The Shah told Ambassador Bill Sullivan in 1977 that he had pancreatic cancer, that he intended to abdicate, and that he wanted visas for he and his family to go to the US for medical treatment.

Both the Shah and Sullivan agreed that Khomeini would be the next leader of Iran.

Sullivan then established back-door negotiations with Khomeini living in Paris with the help of the Brits. The negotiations went well and Sullivan and Khomeini were preparing for a face-to-face meeting when the French DGSE got wind of what was happening.

The French wanted their man, Ayatollah Rhuollah in power, so they leaked word of the Shah's pending abdication at a mosque in Tabriz.

As word spread, you now have several different ayatollah's vying for power, but most of the backing went to Khomeini.

Carter's neo-cons Gary Sick and Zbigniew Brzezinski convinced him to send General Huyser to Iran to instigate a coup with the Iranian army commanders. Sullivan flew to Washington and he and General Haig (then Army Chief of Staff) begged Carter not to do it, but Carter wouldn't listen.

When Khomeini finds Huyser there, he rightly feels the US is trying to back-stab him.

The rest is history (Khomeini executed the head of SAVAK and seven of the army commanders who met with Huyser).

 

The point was any killing children is considered evil. Which clearly doesn't give your Iranians any pass with attempting to blow up women and children.

Still like I said, I wish all of you Anti Americans for once in your existence could actually see the US go all evil like on your countries. Then you could say the US is evil.

As it stands now the US does more good in the World. Than you precious Iranians can do in 3 centuries. More than Russia China Iran and several others combined.

The US isn't fighting the Houthis. The US is doing what its suppose to do. Supporting its ally.

The Saudi's can not do it without the Americans backing it up with weapons and their politics. If the Russian's would be helping out say Ethiopia to starve children by the 10.000's we would be having a totally different conversation with you. You're just that shallow. No the US has put the mental check on the Saud a few times already. That is what the State Dept does.
