What exactly is a Bernie Bro and what's so bad about them? They are being depicted as angry, demented locusts or something. I know one or two guys that like Bernie, and they are pretty leftist, but they aren't any worse than any other liberal. They are no more manic than some Trump supporters. At least they hate Hillary, so they can't be all bad.

Are they engaging in "vicious attacks" as alleged here?

“It’s disappointing that Senator Sanders’ supporters have viciously attacked the Culinary Union and working families in Nevada simply because our union has provided facts on what certain healthcare proposals might do to take away the system of care we have built over 8 decades,” said NCWU Secretary-Treasurer Geoconda Arguello-Kline in a Wednesday statement.

Joy Reid on MSNBC sounds like she is afraid of them and has been for a while. I am not trolling; I honestly, sincerely have no idea what'll this Bernie Bro business is all about. The supporters I have seen on TV don't sound particularly aggressive to me, just animated against Hillary.

Ummm . . . in 2017 a Bernie bro shot Republican Representative Steve Scalise of Louisiana. That aside most of them do simply seem to be essentially non-thinking but-totally-emoting fanatics with no particular inclination -- so far -- towards violence. But if the DNC screws Bernie out of the nomination a second time we might see that change.

Well I've heard them saying that if Sanders doesn't get the nomination Milwaukee will burn..........that's pretty bad.

I like Bernie - but cringe a bit in how far left he goes sometimes - while liking other of his policies.

Because things swung to one extreme in last election - the probability is increased that there is a swing to another extreme in this election.

One thing is for sure - the voters are in a foul mood. They were in a foul mood last election - Anti Establishment movements on both sides of the fence - which I claim determined the outcome. The mood is even fouler this election .. The AE movement grown bigger but still lacking in clear direction.

If I was a betting man - which I am - I would not know where to put my money. Right now the odds makers have Trump at -170 - meaning you have to bet 170 to win 100. That is quite a heavy favorite this early in the game.

A term Hillery invented becuase she thought it made male Sanders supporters sound sexist, the implication being they only supported Sanders becuase he was a guy running against a women.

So would I. The thing is that none of the things Dems warned about have happened. What war we have appears to be winding down, and the stock market is doing exactly the opposite of what Paul Krugman promised. (Did he believe all that stuff?)

Now even Nate Silver says the Russians, with whom Trump did not collude in the first place, did not affect the election. Trump does make me cringe on occasion, but if my vote decided an election as between any of the. Democrats, I'd vote Trump.

I did like a couple of the moderate Dems who long ago dropped out. And I still like Tulsi. And she likes me. A lot.

But Biden, Buttigieg, Warren and Sanders make Hillary look like a great candidate.

I think that Ms. Gabbard has some admirable qualities as well, though I'm afraid that Mrs. Clinton might feel differently since the inception of Ms. Gabbard's lawsuit against her, and the Clinton Machine is still very much a part of politics as usual within the Democrat Party.

Some of these bernie bros are agent provacateurs with the intent of hurting sanders . Common sense since bernie has spoken out against them telling them he doest want that kind of support and yet they continue on ?

Yes, I admit that's possible. There was a very conservative guy named Ossie Brown running for D.A. in Louisiana. A bunch of his opponents got t-shirts the said "GAYS FOR OSSIE!!" and went to his rallies. Funny.

    But Ossie still won.

It would be nice if the KKK came out in support of Bernie, I wonder would CNN and MSNBC roast Bernie for that?
