true-because your goal is not to punish criminals or deter them but to harass and hassle lawful gun owners and gun ownership

How about the grand american trap shoot-6000+ people walking around with 12G shotguns. No one gets mugged, murdered or held up there

You are the one that declared a definition; one that fits your narrative. A total failure of logic.

I guess you too have figured out that he hasn't ever attempted to make a valid argument that hassling honest gun owners actually is crime control but rather his schtick is that honest gun owners need to be harassed because they don't share his extreme left wing agenda

His posts remind me of another poster that claimed he could quickly and easily convert an AR-15 to full Automatic with a few minutes work with a file, proving he knew 000% / Absolutely nothing about the inner workings of the AR-15 Rifle......

All those Foolish statements about Guns are nothing but hot air, and unproved Lies.

Is there a constitutional right to healthcare? Is there a constitutional right to use facilities that correspond to an undefined mental state rather than a physical state?

It's not enough, because in so many Liberal-Dem urban cities, as few as 20% of murderers are ever even arrested.

Nice try Black knight. You don't debate, you oppose and post responses only you think are clever.

My question when I saw those posts, is what is the obsession with full auto for an AR? For most civilians it would offer no advantage in almost any self defense scenario I can think of.

    Yep.

The only scenario I can think of where it would be of any use whatsoever would be a mob trying to burn down your house or something.

Even then, I'd rather have a semi-auto though.

There are few instances in combat where the 3 round giggle switch gets flipped all the way over. Running out of ammo sucks.

the problem is that his stated goals are not the ones that motivate his anti gun jihad. So his arguments are destroyed but he doesn't care since he has not stated his real motivations. Arguing with gun banners that gun restrictions don't deter criminals means nothing because deterring criminals is only a facade the gun banners proffer in order to serve as a pretext for banning guns: their real reason is to harass voters who don't buy into their agenda and to try to weaken the lobbying power of the NRA

Your posts are a useful springboard for us who understand the issues to use to educate others as to the dishonesty and silliness of the anti gun position

Even with the scenario you mentioned, the main value I would see is possible shock and scare of someone facing them with a full auto who is Hollywood U educated, not nesessarily how many assailants you could put down. Full auto to me was generally used for suppression or for breaking contact (same thing really). I can bump fire, without a BF device, at will with my AR so no need to run in violation of the law. I can double tap extremely fast, and transition targets quick enough to negate a fully auto advantage...in fact, on the range in a test against an M4 with both full auto and burst mode, with multiple targets at different ranges, most of us doing the testing did better in semi mode in the number and accuracy of hits. But, in a fight, without a support team, I'd just as soon not throw away rounds.
Then, too, there are legal AM triggers, like Taccon's 3MR that can enable putting lots of rounds rapidly down range if you learn how to use them.

As for someone using a DIA, lightning link, or some other method, getting the timing correct and running without squibs, misfeeds and other failures is unlikely. Only things worse than throwing rounds at the sky in a fight, is having a malfunction and not knowing how get a gun back into a fight.

But most without any experience tend to fall back on Hollywood U myths in formulating their opinions. I am still looking for that six shooter that reloads itself and an unlimited round mag.

I very much doubt it would be any less safe. The type of people who can afford super bowl tickets are not going to get into a gun fight in the stadium.

Yeah. No one gets drunk at a major sporting event and gets into a fight. Nascar would be a bloodbath.

Nobody with the ability to buy superbowl tickets is going to get into a drunken brawl. Now, maybe lesser games, but not the Superbowl.

Ok you made your point about the superbowl. But there are a LOT of other sporting events. I believe the Eagles had a jail put in at the stadium because of so many fights.

I don't think the reason is because it is a sporting event. The reason for fights is that they serve alcohol at these events.
