From a legal perspective, an impreachment is just like an arrest. In his impeachments, neither time was he actually found guilty. Do you call somebody a criminal who was found innocent? Weird.

There is nothing illegal about a protest and Generals serve in their positions at the pleasure of the President. Biden wants to us the DOJ to get involved in state elections and their running and I don't see you complaining. Trump BELIEVED there were election irregularities that it was not legitimate and asked for LEGAL inquiries into those and was mad he was not getting them. Nothing illegal just as nothing illegal Biden has already said the next election will not be legitimate.

And have you forgotten that the state legislature of Florida was on the verge of having to do so in 2000 when Gore was tying it up in state courts even having the FSC void the legal and proper certification by the SecState. State legislature MUST retain the ability do so just for such incidences in order to guaranty the electoral votes of the State when the EC meets to cast their votes.

Gore wanted a recount. He didn't get it. The SC ruled there wasn't enough time left on the clock. Gore immediately conceded after that.

There was no evidence of significant fraud. Nor does this cover the extent of Trump's attempt to steal the election.

Being willing to criticize an authority figure when he does wrong is not a derangement. Please learn to deal with that reality.

Gore did nothing of the sort. He accepted his loss. He never pressured state officials to "find votes" for him. He never organized a "stop the steal" riot and insurrection to stop the certification of the votes. And so on.

Gore first wanted it thrown out based on tabulation errors. The court summarily dismissed that. Because that is the route he took he missed the opportunity to call for a statewide recount. So he devised his plan to overturn the results by having the Dem friendly FSC first declare the certification by the SecState void and they granted his request for illegal selective recounts so he could get another slate of electors cerified.

You're not gonna win on this, Trump was NOT the first to challenge electors PERIOD. It was not some BIG new crime.

Trump believed otherwise as his right to do so.
