https://www.foxnews.com/politics/supreme-court-citizenship-question-to-census LOL! Don't think so. Quadruple that number. The Democrats are ******** themselves cause they know this will cost them one thing, power. Illegals are nothing but pawns in their quest for uninterrupted power. This is a perfectly legal & legitimate question to put on the census. In short, Too bad.
Whoa...I missed that. I've read the Constitution...and I must have skipped the part where it gives YOU the power to declare something being contested...as "legal and legitimate." What section is that in? I'm not saying it is not there...but I did not see it.
People will just not answer that question and return the form.... it's not like they won't count that form if that question isn't filled out.. I'm sure this will be upheld however....
Coming from the courts, in plain English, this is what the Democrats are worried about: https://www.brennancenter.org/sites/default/files/legal-work/CAvRoss_MTDOrder_8.17.18.pdf
In short, you have to prove discrimination. Democrats are great at yelling discrimination in a crowded theater, but a majority of the time it more emotional than factual.
Maybe Democrats will propose a compromise and count illegal aliens as 3/5ths of a person like they did with their slave property?
So, the plaintiffs in California are admitting that some of their seats in Congress and the EC are illegit.
My wife was a supervisor during the 2000 census and you mark down what ever the person says. It could be the blackest man you have ever seen answer the door but if he says he is white, you mark down white. Spanish radio here in California broadcast to their listeners instructions to claim white in order to keep Hispanic numbers down.
They know it manipulates the EC. They're just crying 'racist' & 'discrimination' to distract everyone from this fact and hope no one notices.
"Supreme Court conservatives signal possible support for census citizenship question" I heard some republicans states not happy as they would be hit the hardest by this cause of all the illegal labor they use, be interesting to see what the stats really are
funny thing is, it will effect southern states most illegals can't vote, but it gave republicans votes more weight to be honest though, prob have zero effect as no one will be honest on them, but it woudl be funny to see it backfire on republicans
nope, those people live there regardless, that is what the census track, number of people in a area, legal or not... this would just tell how many are illegal (in theory) as we all know they will not answer truthfully and of course conservative southern states benefit most from counting them how about we get rid of the EC, and the one with the most votes wins?
The government has every right to ask the question. It hurts Republicans most, particularly in the southern states.
Not filling it out is constructive receipt of a census filled out by an illegal. Watch..........and see.
The head of the Census is pro-immigrant and will drag feet on doing anything about submitting names to ICE until the next administration.
How so? The number of illegals in the south PALES to the border states of CA, NM, AR, and Texas. Oh and take the illegals out of the equation in Texas, it will be red forever.
More FAKE NEWS!! The previous director, John Thompson, stepped down in June 2017, and Ron Jarmin, a career official who oversaw the bureau's economic programs, has been filling in as the acting director. Jarmin is now expected to become the agency's permanent deputy director. Senate Confirms Trump's Census Bureau Director Nominee Steven Dillingham
I'm not sure what you are saying, but I'm reasonably sure it doesn't matter.. What are you going to do if illegals say Yes? What are you going to do if citizens say No or leave blank?
That question was on the census for decades. It's only the recent butthurt by Leftists that is unreasonable. There is nothing daunting about that question. It has nothing to do with "illegal" immigrants. Just immigrants.
