The economic and social elements surrounding the following stories, are essentially MODELS (examples) of what what staunchly-conservative and Republican leadership and government leads to: Freeport, IL (Sensata) Richard Mourdock These are the kinds of things which come of those who care more about their select, monopolistic agendas... rather than greater liberty and justice for ALL. The more the nations leans "Right", the more we become the stories linked to above. People... PLEASE WAKE UP!!! (Etchy-Sketchy Romney, Lyin' Ryan, Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock are the SAME PERSON; they represent the extreme, Tea Party, Conservative Rightwing Republican. A vote FOR THEM, is a vote AGAINST YOURSELF.)
What is needed is for Obama to enact an Executive Order to mandate that corporations cannot leave the US. Perhaps a marshall law for corporations is in order. Then if they go belly up just nationalize them and we will have a workers paradise. In the interim, go buy your Obama mandated corporate insurance so you don't wind up in jail with them.
We don't need any 'extreme' measures, only implementation of common sense ideas. For one, let's cease rewarding the transferring of jobs overseas. I've been seeing the need for something like that, since Ross Perot mentioned the "giant sucking sound". The BROADER the base of those paying into a health insurance system... the better off all will be. And setting up a where a few are allowed to become hyper-wealthy due to the illnesses of others, is at least a waste of money. The math is REALLY that simple.
My goodness, more busy body whining liberals that can't seem to understand the ups and downs of the business world or of capitalism for that matter. Never fear, those losers who worked there can now join forces with the OWS gang who will be more than willing to share a tent with them and perhaps a little weed at their next protest venue. Remember what Ronald Reagan did to those whining Air Traffic Controllers who wanted to or did go on strike? You guessed it....he fired their wimpy arses in a heartbeat.
Dear Mr. Mourdock, America is not a 'theocracy'. Some laws (liberties/freedoms) supersede 'individual' beliefs.
Remember: It's not just the Republican/Conservative candidate to be concerned about... it is the Right Wing PLATFORM (agenda) laid out for all elected into the (small) "tent".
THIS is where the Republican agenda will have most Americans. NOT voting for Romney will help to avoid the same. 99 cents per hour; is that what people like Romney are willing to bring the Middle Class standard down to? (It surely seems to be, considering his business dealings.) Just one more element of reality surrounding the Romney (Conservative/Republican) agenda.
I'm awake. Are you awake to the fact that the reason more people aren't aware of this, is because Obama doesn't want to villainize any of the banksters sacred cash cows? Why doesn't all of America know what the Italian Yellow Pages deal actually was, and who it was sold to?
I wasn't calling YOU out, per se. Can you prove what you claim? I can see how you might THINK what you say is true... but I don't see why you believe it is. Wow. I admit I don't know what you are referring to there.
Much simpler solution available...just break up corporate giants and allow the "free market" to work.
Prove? No. How would you prove something like this, seems like a unreasonable threshold considering we aren't talking about gravity. Here is what makes me believe this is the case though: http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/contrib.php?cycle=2008&cid=N00009638 And this: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/21/us/politics/cory-a-booker-criticizes-obamas-bain-ad.html?_r=0 http://www.dylanratigan.com/2012/01/23/david-stockman-on-mitt-newt-and-crony-capitalism/ I guess the sale that they should be talking about was for Experian, and not the Italian Yellow pages.
Right!! Nothing hyper-radical... just reasonable stuff that makes mathematical good sense for ALL Americans.
Breaking up Walmart is a good faith effort and an even better "first step" towards that rebirth of America IMO (if there's ever going to be one).
You know what equalizes things over time... human beings do not LIVE forever. Still, I think that most big changes take time. The incremental and typically SLOW revolutions within our system aren't perfect... but they are effective and lead to change. Things change, whether we like it or not.
