Next time, you can ask him: if, repeat if, hypothetically here (I'm after YOUR morality level here), Mohammad DID do [such and such atrocity that he's saying didn't happen] would you condemn him for that?" Muslims seem to squirm when you ask them to be ethical, if doing so might in any way possibly disagree with Mohammad's (even hypothetical) actions. So when they object and demand proof, realize that they aren't really condemning the barbarity itself, but rather the fact that you DARE to point out said barbarity!
