There are a lot of things in particular associated with the South.

You can't draw an automatic cause-effect relationship due to correlation.

For example, countries where people have longer lifespans tend to have more luxury cars.
That doesn't mean the longer lifespans in these countries is due to more expensive cars.

It isn't effective. Teens will have sex. I know I did! Nothing will stop that drive. The best way to protect them is teaching protection against disease and pregnancy. This has been proven. Look at those red states in the south. Highest % of teenage pregnancy.

 

All of them don't. And it varies from state to state. One can also point out as a general rule that states with the highest infant mortality rates have higher percentages of minorities but I don't think that means anything in particular either.
