By the way, where are the OWS? Surely they can find a cop car to dump on somewhere.

Did all those 'adult' Tea Partiers lose their way to the ballot box back in 2010 when they gave Republicans total control of congress? That chidren's book you're working on may as well include all those democrats that lost in 2010 and all of the dems that are going to lose seats in 2012. You might want to title the book....'End of the Democrat Party' (thanks to the Tea Partiers).

To those of us that have saying the tea party is nothing but a bunch of disingenuous hypocrites, I give you the OP.

The idea that anyone would actually accept they cannot get EVERYTHING their own way is novel to some.Dems and Republicans can attract and must DEFEND the wishes of the tea party support going forward.
What does the progressive left dems offer ?
Hatred.. division.. diversion and the Hollow wood anti conservatives.
Living in L.A in a dream world really puts them in touch with the so called 99 %.

There is no perfect candidate..only someone who is Better than what we have now.
We know Obama now... he sucks as a leader..in all the wrong ways.

Romney is different...different is better..and the tea party wants to continue to grow in scope and influence.

They are infinitely superior to FAT CAT UNION THUGS.. and the Hollywood progressives.
Add Sharpton with his Race warfare and you get a cocktail for disaster next election cycle.

I truly believe there will be riots in the streets when Obama is defeated.

With the teapartiers aboard, that should scare away any normal voter who might have been tempted to gamble with their country's future.

I'm a Tea Party person and will support Romney. Not because we think he's great but because he's better than Obama.

We don't put forth our own candidates but prefer to work through those who are republicans. Through activism we try to impress our views on candidates and hope that they will listen considering our political activism especially during the voting period.

It works better when we have multiple candidates to choose from but with only 1 nominee for President our choices are limited.

I coulda swore that the Dems still control the Senate. If that is true how could anybody say the GOP has total control of Congress?

Romney was not the Tea Party's first choice but compared to Obama, he's good enough.

The Tea Party is running candidates for downticket offices all over the nation. From this years school board comes tomorrow's national candidates.

Goes to show how retarded the tebaggers are, they have no clue that the Mit is manipulating them and will take all their insurance money when/if elected. Tebaggers want no gubment,a nd the Mit will make them pay more taxes for a larger gubment, just like boooooosh did.

You obviously have no idea what Tea Party members have on their agenda. Getting rid of government certainly isn't on the list I can tell you that.

Pushing out an Authoritarian Moderate with a (D) beside his name for an Authoritarian Moderate with a (R) next to his name? I can only imagine the trembling fear as someone of the Republican Party living in the White House making little to no changes and then making you believe it's the Democrats in the House/Senate preventing solvency. We have our Bread (Welfare) and the Circus is the Political System we have where idiots choosing someone based on Party.

Just how is he better than Obama. He was bon with a silver spoon in his mouth spent more time at Harvard than Obama. Became a corporate raider. So tell me how is he going to create jobs, what is his tax plan? Healthcare, ya know the one that he said should be a national model but is now against? The Tea Party is kinda like the white stuff in the corner of your mouth when you get thirsty. Really not needed and easily desposed of after you realize the fridge is only two feet away and the madness stops.

The GOP did kind of screw the Tea Party, but it's going to take years to purge the party of the establishment types. It's not going to happen over night.

    I love it..

    So..

To have a debate or discussion we need some details.

How did the GOP screw the tea party ?
The tea Party cannot even identify itself with any platform ..other than throw the bums out.
And .. Replace the bums with what ? More untested Bums ?

The Dems are the current party in power ..Not Bush..not Newt Gingrich..not Santorum and certainly not Mitt Romney.
The idea of factually vetting your local congressman is nice...but that should be at the LOWEST level of government starting out..as WELL AS the highest level.

Do even know who your school board and local city and county representatives are and who funded and controls their strings ?

The tea Party was a start not a END product.

I would encourage the so called tea party zealots to reconsider why they got involved in the first place...they are NOTHING NEW..The so called GOP regulars LIKE ME have been involved and engaged for DECADES..and I would just like to say WELCOME..It's about time you got off your butts and got involved in your world.

The so called ESTABLISHMENT GOP are involved..committed and leading the way as usual..I love the way SMOKING DUDE loves to attack us as all BUSH clones..
No... Bush left the real conservative element long ago..its the job to GROUND our politicians once again..and we will...
I do wonder if OWS will do the same for the other side..:chainsaw:

Here in Indiana, the Tea party is putting up a slate of candidates for school boards.

Supposedly, school board elections are non-partisan, but ISTA (Indiana State Teachers Association - the local arm of the NEA) has vetted school board candidates for decades. Now the people get a choice.
