I would speculate that a dubious website along the lines of a blog from thinkatheist.com has an agenda to make the religious look bad.

Besides, I prefer a fundamentalist who believes the Moon generates it's own light to say Pol-Pot of the Khmer Rouge, who would order your murder if you slept during the day. Yes, Pol-Pot was an avowed atheist, and when it was all said and done 1 in 4 Cambodians were dead. A man who never ran out of excuses to kill someone.

Somehow storming out of a seminar presented by a tv celeb, seems rather mundane in comparison to murdering 1 in 4 citizens of an entire country...sometimes for just wearing eyeglasses. If you wear eyeglasses you must know how to read and we can't have that! Yes, if you were a literate Cambodian, and found with a book...you were more often than not....killed.

Thank you atheism, the "kind and gentle" approach to humanism....indeed.

Keep this in mind...atheists engage in sophistry and deny at all costs, that Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot were true atheists.

They are out and out...liars and snakes of the lowest order.
    Sophists... intent on deceiving.

Remember that. They argue the truth with a forked tongue...there is more to this story as presented.

There are plenty of the unenlightened on both sides of the coin.

So it is in bad taste to quote the Bible? LOL

Why are Christians so ashamed of their Bible?

What's going on? Are we being duped by the OP? Before proceeding, let's get the story straight. What the heck actually happened here?

Why are atheists so afraid to do the same thing in front of a bunch of Muslims?

Considering that the OP is posting a 4 year old blog about an event 7 years ago as a current event and getting away with it I would say yes.

That's begging the question, and it also has nothing to do with what Wolverine (who is not an atheist, I might point out) posted.

I take it you haven't read much Hitchens, Harris, or Dawkins, have you?

You failed the address the question:

So it is in bad taste to quote the Bible? LOL

Why are Christians so ashamed of their Bible?

Why be upset of the Bible being quoted verbatim?
