If you don't even know the difference between being charged with a crime and being investigated for a crime, I just don't have the ability to educate you any further but it does answer a lot of question I had.

It's considerate of the dems and liberals to be so concerned for people to work for Trump.

Change "hard" to "challenging" and it's a go.

I still think he won't be able to find someone to take the job, and he will decide to be his own COS. Considering his narcissistic persona, that seems logical. Then he will say that is what he wanted to do all along.

Mueller and the Democrats won't have to. Mueller’s team has indicted or gotten guilty pleas from 33 people and three companies that we know of — the latest being former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.

That group is composed of five former Trump advisers, 26 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer. Seven of these people (including now all five former Trump aides) have pleaded guilty.

Were you the boss of all of those people, you would brag you are not even charged yet.

Wow, are you serious? Are you that innocent or gullible. Turning state's evidence to get bigger fish has been around since God created prosecutors.

It all goes back to the same problem. When you threaten people with jail time, but offer a reduced sentence if they will give someone up, our government is treading on very dangerous territory.

It took Obama 4 tries to land one that lasted more than a few months.

That does not make it a good idea. All it takes is a dishonest investigator or an incompetent one and the result is no longer justice.

It is especially dangerous when you have an investigation looking for a crime.

I heard Kellyanne Conway was a candidate for the job. What a joke that would be. A COS with Trump as the puppeteer. Of course, that's what he wants, sycophants.

Trump is insecure. He can't tolerate someone offering a different point of view than his.

    Oh for sure.

Trump is an insecure as it gets.

He is a frightened little kid inside of a MORBIDLY Obese Man's Body.

He probably hasn't had sex with Melania in over a decade (if ever).

His idea of a "Hot Date" is waddling around the halls of the White House at 3 AM looking for another scoop of ice cream.

He is a Scared Little Man.:smfh:

Who would even want the job of being his Day Care Provider?

    Donald Trump?:roflol:

Are you suggesting that Mueller is a "dishonest investigator?"

When you want to get out of a hole, the first step is to quit digging.

I am not suggesting anything. When you are investigating in search of a crime, it is a dangerous to reward those who provide to collaborate your story.

Obviously, I was using the term, charged, in the broader sense of the word. Everyone knows Trump hasn't been indicted ... yet.

There have no less than four Congressional investigations into the Trump campaign's collaboration with Russia and obstruction of justice. For the past 18 months a special prosecutor has been investigating those crimes as well.

"investigating in search of a crime" You didn't know that??? Gee, I thought everyone knew that. Well, you just learned something.

That has been the way from the start. You find someone, guilty or not, threaten them with prison unless they come up with the information they want. Keep at it long enough and you will get a long line of confessions all in search of a crime. That may be the way you like your government to act. I don't.
And I am sure that the democrats will do a few dozen more.

Your best defense of Trump is ignorance?

Flynn, Manafort, Papadopulous, Gates, and Cohen, all close associates to Trump, have all pleaded guilty to felonies! Are you saying those men are all innocent of the crimes they pleaded guilty to? In Manafort's case he was found guilty of eight felonies by jury of his peers.

No doubt the House will, but with one major difference. Until now all the Congressional investigations have been controlled by Republicans. There have been countless secret hearings with secret testimony and secret documents that remain secret today. None of those committees have submitted a report. Americans have no idea what was disclosed behind closed doors.

That is likely to change when the Dems take over the House. There will be transparency in those hearings.

That is why Trump is acting so strange. He will no longer be able to control what happens in the House of Representatives. He should be concerned.

Trump revealed that he's down to five candidates to replace departing Chief of Staff John Kelly.

“We are interviewing people now for chief of staff,” Trump said. He said the shortlist of "five people" was consisted of “mostly well-known” contenders who were all “terrific people" and "really good ones."

Here is the $64,000 question. Do those five people want to be chief of staff.

(CNN)Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie issued a statement Friday saying he has asked not to be considered for the White House chief of staff job after meeting with President Donald Trump to discuss the role.

Christie met with Trump on Thursday, but two sources familiar with the discussion said no offer had been made.

"It's an honor to have the President consider me as he looks to choose a new White House chief of staff. However, I've told the President that now is not the right time for me or my family to undertake this serious assignment," Christie said in a statement obtained by CNN but first reported by The New York Times.

"As a result, I have asked him to no longer to keep me in any of his considerations for this post," Christie added.

The notion that Trump's son-in-law would be OK with reporting to the man who put his father in jail is a bit farfetched. Multiple sources say the Trump children will have the most influence on his decision.

Is there anyone close to Trump who isn't in trouble with the law?

It has been suggested that Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is in line for the job of COS.

The Hill writes, "White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters on Thursday night that she was not aware whether Kushner was under consideration for the role.

“But as I think all of us here would recognize, he will be great in any role that the president chooses to put him in," Sanders said. “He has done a tremendous job on a number of fronts, whether it was on trade or what we’ve seen play out over the last week on criminal justice reform. He’s done a great job on all those efforts.”

"Kushner is not inclined to take the job because he is happy in his current role, according to a Reuters report."

I find it shocking that you think co-operating with prosecutors for lesser sentencing is a new thing.
