The Left is scared out of their mind. They know Barr isn't going to be like the other three Attorney Generals. Things aren't going to be swept under the rug with Barr. He is finally going after these guys on the Left and now the Democrats want to get rid of him before all this crap comes out. They got dozens of Lawyers to sign a petition asking Barr to resign, saying he's a Trump puppet. He isn't a puppet. He easily sees what the Left is trying to do to Trump and he is speaking out. He will prosecute those that broke the law. The only thing that isn't clear is how many is involved and how far up it goes. You can bet many will be singing like a bird to get charges reduced. Barr said the other day that as of now it doesn't look like Obama or Biden broke the law. Not that they were innocent, but didn't break the law. I hope that changes before this investigation is over. Obama set this up, lawful or not. What pisses me off is how the Fake News has gone right along with what they have done. They are a mouth piece for the Democratic Party. Only Fox has been following this for years and I'm sure it will show Fox was right on.

Whether it is corruption or not depends on the partisanship of the viewer. Obama had his day. Now it is Trump's day. If we didn't have so much corruption in government, people like Barr wouldn't have anything in government to investigate. Perhaps cleaning up behavior is the answer.

You are trying to paint Flyn as some kind of squeaky clean soldier who did nothing wrong. There was a good reason he was fired from Obama, and it had something to do with his becoming a loose cannon.

I find it interesting that if Obama fires someone ( remember, Flynn at the time was a dem), it's a messed up deal, but if Trump fires someone, when there is blatant evidence the firing is motivated by corrupt intent, the right shouts "it's the President's right to fire someone", and the right doesn't extend that standard to Obama. No, Obama was 'out to get Flynn' according the to right and Flynn an innocent soldier being wronged by the deep state, or some kind of bullshit line like that. Some call this 'hypocrisy'./

I don't know what you and repubs are saying 'they did to him' and in almost every instance where these kind of 'deep state' -ish allegations are being tossed at the FBI, and any one who challenges authority ( noting that they are authority ) but when the rubber hits the road, there almost always is a more compelling and truthful counter narrative, which the right has absolutely no interest in bringing forth. Flynn is a man who has fell from grace, he blew it and started acted irrationally at some point, bringing a lot of what happened to him on himself, and no one on the right, nor is Flynn, taking responsibility ( well Flynn did, actually, we have a signed sworn statement, that he lied to the FBI and regretted it, etc., but he's back pedaling now ) and that is the long and short of it.

The real story is Trump's gross maladministration and incompetence to a point where people have needlessly been killed.

Not necessarily, a number of conservatives are saying it, too: David Frum, Steve Schmidt, Joe Scarborough, Rick Wilson, George Will, to name a few.
Frum & Wilson have written books on the corruption of this administration, and these were solid Bush/Reagan conservatives, once upon a time.

As I understand it, Flynn disagreed with the way Obama was mishandling the war and he had every reason to feel that way. Obama not only mishandled fighting ISIS, but the whole Middle East. He is hated by most of the Middle Eastern nations. I wrote this some years ago in answer to another gentleman that tried to tell me how well Obama handled foreign policy.

I have to wonder what planet Liberals have been living on for the last 8 years to think Obama has done a good job fighting ISIS and keeping us safe. By doing so, he has caused the murder of tens of thousands of others. How intelligent is he when he calls ISIS Jr. Varsity and sits back and allows them to take over almost half of Iraq, doing little to stop them till American heads are chopped off and public pressure made him make token attacks against them? With our planes coming back with 75% if their armaments because of restrictions Obama put on them? How smart is he to think Russia and Iran would stand back and do nothing while he try's to take out Assad, their biggest Allie in the Middle East? How smart is he to take out the government of Libya at a time we never had better relations with them and then just walk away and let it fall to terrorist and ISIS. Who then attacked our embassy and killed the Ambassador and three others? We had no one to call for help for them then. Why didn't he send help, or at least pull them out like most of the other nations did with their embassies? Why did he even call them to see if they were Ok, he knew the country was in turmoil after taking out the government and just walking away. How smart was he to back stab Egypt's President Mubarak? We were only saved from that fiasco by the Egyptian Army. He has most of the Middle East hating him. His actions in the Middle East has caused the death of tens of thousands and caused millions of Muslim refugees and terrorist to invade Europe which will never be the same again. His actions will effect the world forever. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had appealed to the US and the international community for more weapons to help in its fight against pro-Russian ...
He asked Obama for weapons to defend his country and Obama gave him blankets, uniforms, trucks, boats and night vision glasses. No weapons. Ukraine President said you can't fight a war with blankets. The man has been a disaster to the world and you people are praising him?

Every time I see crap like this coming from ultra right wing websites, and I did deep into the story, the counter narrative almost always is more compelling.
I don't have time to dig into the weeds of Obama's foreign policy, but without his rebuttal to any of the above or my not having time to refute what you are implying with these quotes, I am going to reserve judgement.

However, I do have enough time to debunk your premise about Trump giving lethal weapons to Ukraine 'and Obama didn't".

By the way, during Ukraine and Obama's presidency, the former head of Ukraine was corrupt, much more than the current guy, and that's why he didn't get the more lethal weapons.

See, its your failure to put a story in it's accurate light, tells me that no doubt the rest of your post is a spin to forward a right wing agenda.

    you conveniently left out this

    and this:
    https://foreignpolicy.com/2019/11/15/trump-resisted-ukraine-sale-javelin-antitank-missile/

No doubt the rest of the stuff you posted, from far right websites are bunk, too.

Joe Biden has said that by holding up vital military aid to Ukraine, President Trump “used the power and resources of the United States to pressure a sovereign nation, a partner that is still under direct assault from Russia … to subvert the rule of law.”

That’s rich. The aid in question is lethal military assistance that the Obama-Biden administration refused to give Ukraine.

In 2014, after Russia annexed Crimea and began arming separatists in eastern Ukraine with tanks, armored vehicles and rocket launchers, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko came to Washington to plead for weapons to defend his country. In an impassioned address to a joint session of Congress — with Biden sitting directly behind him — Poroshenko said his country appreciated the nonlethal assistance he was getting, but declared “one cannot win a war with blankets.”

The Obama-Biden administration was unmoved. The Wall Street Journal reported at the time that “President Barack Obama stuck to his refusal to provide weapons or other lethal military gear to Ukraine.” Why?

Team Obama feared that lethal aid would provoke Moscow.

So what did the administration give him? Instead of rocket-propelled grenades, we provided food rations. As one frustrated former Pentagon official put it at the time, “What kind of message does that send anyway?”

    Answer: a message of weakness.

When Trump took office, he delivered a message of strength. In December 2017, the new administration announced that the United States would send the lethal aid to Ukraine that Poroshenko requested and Obama and Biden refused — the sale of $47 million worth of Javelin antitank missiles.

In May 2018, after Ukraine tested its new Javelin missiles, Poroshenko exulted on Twitter “Finally this day has come!” and personally thanked Trump “for supporting Ukraine and adopting a decision to provide Javelin antitank missile systems.”

I don't think anything I have said can be debunked. Your only hearing the half your Party wants you to hear.

He resisted, but Ukraine got the missiles.. Obama didn't send lethal weapons at all, he was afraid of starting a conflict with Russia over it. Just like he was afraid of doing it with Russia over missiles to Poland. Obama was a failure in his foreign policy as he was domestic policy. But he did talk nice, unlike Trump.

Ukraine was being invaded at the time. They needed weapons and Obama refused to give them. Bull crap with corruption. The whole country is corrupted and has been. Still is.

No most of the things I put up is not far Right. As a matter of fact I hardly ever use Fox at all and much is Far Left. Not all, but a lot is.

If I remember right, the only reason Trump held up for awhile is that he was trying to get NATO members to also help. Besides the tank missiles, he also sent grenades and snipper rifles to Ukraine.

Federal government is corrupt. I understand that. It has been for a very long time. Administrations come and go but the corruption continues. I can only suggest that it is what voters prefer. People don't vote for what is good for the country. They vote for what they perceive as their own interests. If we vote for our personal interests we will have a government that does the same.

No. I said that Mueller did not make the factual determinations necessary to conclude a crime was committed.

    Mueller said:
Three basic elements are common to most of the relevant obstruction statutes: (1) an obstructive act; (2) a nexus between the obstructive act and an official proceeding; and (3) a corrupt intent.

    Mueller also said:
Applying the obstruction statutes to the President’s official conduct would involve determining as a factual matter whether he engaged in an obstructive act, whether the act had a nexus to official proceedings, and whether he was motivated by corrupt intent.

Nowhere does Mueller determine as a factual matter that Trump acted with corrupt intent.
    Nowhere.
Absent a factual determination of corrupt intent, there can be no obstruction of justice.
Nowhere does Mueller state he did not conclude a crime was committed because of the OLC statue.
    See above.
    Allow me to repeat myself:
Nowhere does Mueller determine as a factual matter that Trump acted with corrupt intent.
    Nowhere.
Absent a factual determination of corrupt intent, there can be no obstruction of justice.
The investigation did not find that Trump acted with corrupt intent.
How do you prove corrupt intent when the investigation did not make a factual determination of same?
    Translation:
We KNOW Trump committed obstruction of justice, but its tooooo haaaard to impeach him for it.

Where's Mueller's factual determination of corrupt intent?

I stand by my comment for it's factualness. That was the reason Obama didn't send lethal weapons to Ukraine, and the hoopla by Trump and the right on this point is disingenuous.

AS for 'never a problem' We know that Biden threatened to withdraw loan gaurantees if Ukraine didn't fire the corrupt prosecutor. We have a video of that one.
So Obama and Biden were definitely concerned about corruption in Ukraine.

So, I'll file your comment in the wishful thinking file.

Everything you are saying is moot, because:

    and

So this idea because Mueller didn't say there was no crime doesn't mean there wasn't, and he said so.

    END OF ARGUMENT

He reported 10 potential obstruction events, and left it up to a prosecutor or congress to make determinations of fact.
What kind of FACT? The fact of guilt or innocence. This is what 'determination of fact means".
    .
You are twisting the words in an egregious manner.

I explained why Pelosi didn't include any of them in the impeachment.

    You are not paying attention.

no evidence required, the accusations themselves suffice to maintain the outrage of the partisan divide. Trump loves him some juicy conspiracies that project his corruption and incompetence unto his opponents and his acolytes lap that crap up.
