How one presents the facts makes a difference. While it doesn't change the facts it does communicate other information. As a writer I am sure you are well aware of that.
Having recently read many of your posts and having read your biographical information I am beginning to believe that you are an expert at feigning ignorance to help you persuade others.
How many other officials are nationally elected?

You just have to get three fourths of the states to agree with reducing their political power. Which 38 states do you think will choose to do so?

    I could not agree more.

Not unlike everyone else on PF, yes, I am using my powers of persuasion with the use of undeniable facts and history.

Good point, but it does not invalidate my point. Again, the Electoral College was created at time when se still hadn't licked the Indian problem, we were still fighting the British, and -- most important -- education was nearly non-existent.

Since the E.C. chose the most unpopular and incompetent impeached President in modern American history who has a strong tendency to favor Vladimir Putin over our intelligence agencies and FBI, most it is time our country adapt to present conditions.

Plus, he acts like a jerk. Even his supporters (like Graham) often say that.

Good point. Yeah, that's a problem, but the problem can be solved if we put our mind to it.

"Because Nancy’s teeth were falling out of her mouth, and she didn’t have time to think!" Trump tweeted on December 15.

Trump recently verbally attacked a 16-year old girl with autism who is concerned about climate change.

"The scathing article in Christianity Today said that Trump — who has received very strong support from evangelical voters — “has dumbed down the idea of morality in his administration” by hiring and firing “a number of people who are now convicted criminals,” and by admitting “immoral actions in business and his relationships with women.”

At a political rally this week Trump directly implied that the late Democratic Rep. John Dingell was in hell. He didn't like that his wife voted in favor of impeachment. Trump thought he was being funny by attacking the memory of the former Congressmen who died eight months ago. Dingell holds the record for longest-ever serving member of Congress in American history, representing Michigan for more than 59 years.

Trump is a prolific liar. Americans cannot trust a thing he says. Imagine that, Americans cannot trust what their President says.

    Like I said, he's a jerk.

This is the President chosen by the E.C. It is time for change.

Thank God we don't elect the President based upon popular vote. Can you image letting the denizens of our major CESS Pool cities decide who is President.

Do you have a preliminary list of the 38 states who would ratify an amendment reducing their political influence?

Okay, forget a list of 38 states. How about one state? Can you tell me one state that would ratify an amendment reducing its political influence?

You made a point. Don't get carried away with yourself.

First, I never said changing the Constitution would be easy.

Second, the political climate will change. It won't always be true that a vast majority of rural voting districts will will vote for an incompetent, inexperienced, lying jerk for President.

As of Oct. 9, his 993rd day in office, he had made 13,435 false or misleading claims, according to the Fact Checker’s database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement he has uttered. That’s an average of almost 22 claims a day since our last update 65 days ago.

Nobody said they aren't American, not sure why you'd imply that. The electoral college ensures that all of America isn't ruled by urban hellholes. That was by intent, and obviously the right choice. Its near impossible to become president if you can't win at least half the states. You folks think Hillary won, but she couldn't even win the support of half the nation. How sad...

The EC, and the Senate, give a disproportionate amount of power to a minority of voters. That's just a fact.

1/5 of her entire vote, not of all votes cast. Only her votes count for her...

I was trying to make a point.

    That is exactly my point.

Why should Americans who live in our cities and suburbs have less representation in the election of our President?

Why do you regard our cities and suburbs as hellholes?

Yes. Those were the terms of the treaty. That's why the less populous states were convinced to ratify.
