Donald Trump is charged with 91 felonies in four criminal indictments, and has been found guilty of fraud in a New York civil case.

    Do Republican voters know that?

"President Trump famously declared during his 2016 campaign that he loved the “poorly educated” because voters with lower levels of schooling delivered an overwhelming share of votes to him," the conservative Washington Times."

Iowa is farm state. Trump dominates in rural counties. https://inthesetimes.com/article/20...ulism-peoples-action-win-rural-america-report

It would appear that the Iowa voters did not know that.

Or, they know it, and they don't care. For those voters, the President of their choice is accused of 91 federal crimes. It's Biden's fault.

The Times reports, "Multiple Republicans have ended their presidential campaigns over the past two months, narrowing the field against former President Donald J. Trump — but the only person who has gained much ground in the first voting state is Mr. Trump, according to a new poll.

"Mr. Trump has the support of 51 percent of likely caucusgoers in a Des Moines Register/NBC News/Mediacom Iowa Poll released Monday, up from 43 percent in the last Iowa Poll from October."

It gets worse for our President.

CNN reports, "Former President Donald Trump has the upper hand over President Joe Biden in two critical battleground states – Michigan and Georgia – with broad majorities in both states holding negative views of the sitting president’s job performance, policy positions and sharpness, according to new CNN polls conducted by SSRS.

"In Georgia, a state Biden carried by a very narrow margin in 2020, registered voters say they prefer Trump (49%) over Biden (44%) for the presidency in a two-way hypothetical matchup. In Michigan, which Biden won by a wider margin."

Why do Republican voters favor a potential felon for President? We will never know for two reasons.

Republican voters seemingly do not have the ability to respond to issues, as this thread shows. Except for reports on the recent polls shown here, Republicans do not have a thread concerning the issues involving Trump or their party. There is an abundance of such issues.

The second reason is supposition based on an overwhelming amount of evidence. Republicans tend to avoid reality. Republicans avoid this thread. Republicans avoid respected news sources such as ABC, CBS, NBC, AP, Reuters, and the like. Because Trump is their overwhelming favorite, one can easily assume that Iowa farmers supporting Trump do not know Trump is charged with 91 felonies in four criminal indictments. Farming and running small, local stores is a tough living. They don't have time for the six-o-clock news.

As far this thread is concerned, I can ask, where are the Republicans?

It can be said that I am somewhat critical of their choice for President and their party's activities. Republicans never defend their choice for President or their party.

    Where are they?

Will the Supreme Court consisting of three judges appointed by Trump {how could America be so unlucky?) decide that Trump is above the law?

ABC reports, "Special counsel Jack Smith's team has asked the Supreme Court to step in and decide the issue of presidential immunity regarding former President Donald Trump's federal election interference charges.

"Hours after Smith filed his request Monday, the court said it would consider the request on an expedited basis.

"Petitioner's motion to expedite consideration of the petition for a writ of certiorari before judgment is granted, and respondent is directed to file a response to the petition on or before 4 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, December 20, 2023," the court wrote. The response does not mean the court will take up the case -- only that it will consider the request in an expedited fashion.

"Smith is asking the court to immediately resolve the immunity issue, to prevent any delay of the March 4 trial date.

"It is of imperative public importance that respondent's claims of immunity be resolved by this Court and that respondent's trial proceed as promptly as possible if his claim of immunity is rejected," the special counsel wrote in his filing Monday."

NPR reports, "Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was in Washington on Tuesday to make a last-ditch push to convince Congress to approve more U.S. weapons and aid for his country in order to push back against Russia's invasion.

"Zelenskyy met first with senators and top congressional leaders before heading to the White House for a meeting and press conference with President Biden.

"The visit comes at a critical moment. The White House says it will run out of money to support Ukraine by the end of the month. Biden has asked Congress for more than $60 billion in aid for Ukraine but has so far been rebuffed. Republican support has waned as the war has dragged on and they're tying support for additional funding to changes to border security. Congress is supposed to leave for the holidays in a matter of days."

The Russian dictator is cheering on the Republican Party. The GOP is siding with Putin in his war of aggression in Ukraine.

Republicans are using a complicated problem that has plagued the last ten Presidents to prevent funding for Ukraine's war against Russian aggression. The House passed HR-2, claiming that this highly partisan, "my way or the highway" bill will solve all our immigration problems. That is pure nonsense.

Because of its extreme partisan nature, HR-2 has no chance in the Senate. Even some Senate Republicans oppose it. H.R. 2 does nothing to address the root causes of migration,
reduces humanitarian protections, and restricts lawful pathways, which are critical alternatives to unlawful entry.

The Republican leader, Trump, is opposed to our financial assistance to Ukraine, and HR-2 is an excuse designed to support Putin's goals in Ukraine.

Trump is not known for his shrewdness in foreign relations, and he admires Putin. By allowing Russian aggression in Ukraine, there is something neither he nor Republicans have thought about.

How much will it cost the United States if Putin attacks a NATO country? Poland or the Baltic States, for example? Attack one, the attack is against all.

I don't expect the forum's Republicans to address these issues.

Republicans in Texas took control of a woman's body when she became pregnant. In doing so these politicians overruled the woman's doctor.

ABC reports, "Texas' Supreme Court on Monday ruled against a woman who sued for an emergency abortion in her home state, overturning a lower court’s ruling last week.

"Kate Cox, 31, filed a lawsuit after she said she was denied an abortion for a pregnancy with a severe anomaly.

"In its opinion, released Monday night, the Texas Supreme Court acknowledged that Cox’s pregnancy "has been extremely complicated" and "parents would be devastated to learn of their unborn child’s trisomy 18 diagnosis." In its opinion, though, the judges wrote that "ome difficulties in pregnancy, however, even serious ones, do not pose the heightened risks to the mother the exception encompasses. The exception requires a doctor to decide whether Ms. Cox’s difficulties pose such risks. [Cox’s doctor] asked a court to pre-authorize the abortion yet she could not, or at least did not, attest to the court that Ms. Cox’s condition poses the risks the exception requires."

    This should make you sick.

The Hill reports, "The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit an all-time high Wednesday, surpassing 37,000 for the first time, after the Federal Reserve opted to hold interest rates steady once again and signaled the possibility of rate cuts next year.

"The Dow closed at 37,090, up 1.4 percent, as the central bank indicated that its nearly two-year campaign of rate hikes may be coming to an end."

Why is the Trump Supreme Court weighing in on a drug that has been in use by millions for over twenty years, and was approved by the FDA twenty-three years ago?

The Answer. Republicans want to control a woman's health once she becomes pregnant. Her wishes and the prognosis of the woman's doctor do not count.

Follow-up questions. What's next? What else do Republicans want to control? Why do they want to impose their beliefs on all Americans?

I am not making this up. I wish I were.

Upon urging from the Republican A.G., the Texas judges, despite the critical nature of the pregnancy, ruled that Kate Cox could not get an abortion.

Next, the Trump court is taking up a case involving a popular drug that deals with women's health and has been is use a long time.

The Post reports, "The Supreme Court will decide this term whether to limit access to a key abortion drug, returning the polarizing issue of reproductive rights to the high court for the first time since the conservative majority overturned Roe v. Wade last year.

"The Biden administration and the manufacturer of mifepristone have asked the justices to overturn a lower-court ruling that would make it more difficult to obtain the medication, which is part of a two-drug regimen used in more than half of all abortions in the United States. Oral arguments will likely be scheduled for the spring, with a decision by the end of June, further elevating the issue of abortion, which has proven galvanizing for Democrats, during the 2024 campaign season."

A decision by the end of June, right smack in the middle of the election season. Republicans will not find that encouraging. They may be cursing Trump all the way to the ballot box.

Republicans in the House want to impeach our President. Impeach him for what, one might ask? Republicans don't know.

CNN reports, "House Republicans voted Wednesday to formalize an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden as their investigation reaches a critical juncture and right-wing pressure grows.

"In a 221-212 vote, all GOP members supported the resolution to formalize the inquiry.

"Up until this point, House Republicans had not had enough votes to legitimize their ongoing inquiry with a full chamber vote. The probe has struggled to uncover wrongdoing by the president, which is why it hasn’t garnered the unified support of the full GOP conference. Note: Republicans did not provide one piece of evidence that our President did anything wrong.

“I think it’s a realistic approach,” GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida said. “I don’t think we have the votes to impeach anyone.”

"Indeed, moderate GOP Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska, who supports authorizing an impeachment inquiry, said that “more likely than not,” Republicans will not end up bringing articles of impeachment against the president because the evidence will not raise to the bar of high crimes and misdemeanors, the standard for impeachment.

"Hunter Biden defied Republican investigators’ subpoena for closed-door testimony and reiterated that he is willing to testify publicly as part of the GOP-led investigation into the president.

“I am here to testify at a public hearing, today, to answer any of the committees’ legitimate questions,” Hunter Biden said in his first public statement since being criminally indicted twice."

Why are Republicans opposed to Biden testifying publicly? Why do they want his deposition taken behind close doors?

Republicans are starting proceedings to invoke contempt of Congress against Hunter Biden.

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) criticized Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), saying he is an “absolute hypocrite” for threatening to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena. Jordan did the same thing.

Any response from the forum's Republicans to these issues? Probably not. Easy to see why they avoid mentioning their party. It's embarrassing.

CNN reports, "Before a group of supportive lawyers entered the Oval Office for a photo-op with then-President Donald Trump in December 2020, they were given a clear instruction, according to one attendee: Don’t get Trump’s hopes up about overturning the election.

"One attorney, Jim Troupis, toed the line. He’d just finished leading Trump’s failed election challenge in Wisconsin, and bluntly told the president it was over in that state.

"But when the conversation shifted to Arizona, attorney Kenneth Chesebro deviated from the plan. He told Trump he could still win – and explained how the “alternate electors” he helped assemble in Arizona and six other states gave Trump an opening to continue contesting the election until Congress certified the results on January 6, 2021.

"The “photo-op … gone south,” as Chesebro called the December 16, 2020, meeting, reveals a previously unknown instance of Trump hearing directly that he lost – which could factor into his federal election subversion trial. But it also highlights how others in Trump’s orbit leaned into his delusions and aided his quixotic effort to cling onto power.

"As often happened, Trump heard what he wanted to, ignoring Troupis and embracing Chesebro’s theories. Trump continued to falsely claim victory in Wisconsin and elsewhere, including on January 6, when he tried to weaponize the illegitimate GOP electors to “disenfranchise millions of voters,” according to his federal indictment.

According to Gallup, only 32% of Americans approve of our President's handling of the economy.

The Hill reports, "The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit an all-time high Wednesday, surpassing 37,000 for the first time."

The Dow set another record today!

    Yahoo!
reports, "US stocks rose on Thursday as interest rate sensitive areas of the market rallied in the wake of the Federal Reserve's pivot to more rate cuts in 2024.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) rose 0.4% or more than 150 points, while the S&P 500 (^GSPC) popped over 0.2%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) added 0.2%. The Dow Jones set a new all time high for the second-straight day.

Donald Trump said Sunday he has decided against testifying. “I will not be testifying on Monday,” Trump wrote in an all-capital-letters on his Truth Social.

Rudy Giuliani repeatedly promised that he would use his defamation trial to explain why he falsely claimed two Georgia poll workers helped steal the 2020 election. Instead, he went silent in court, refusing to testify.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out why these two didn't want to testify once it came to fish or cut bait time and the BSing is over.

    That's too bad.

House Republicans finally accomplished something instead of blocking everything Congress and the administration is trying to do.

The Post reports, "The House, in a decisive vote Thursday, passed the annual defense authorization bill, delivering a bipartisan rebuke to its most conservative members who had sought to infuse the legislation with a wish list of provisions targeting Pentagon policies on abortion, diversity and LGBTQ+ rights.

"The $886 billion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was approved by a vote of 310-118, having passed the Senate by an overwhelming margin Wednesday night. It proceeds next to the White House, where President Biden is expected to sign the legislation into law.

"Notably, the NDAA also extends the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which the Biden administration has used to help support Ukraine’s ongoing war with Russia, through fiscal year 2027. However, the bulk of any future Ukraine aid — proposed spending included in an emergency national security funding request from the White House — remains mired in partisan battles and appears unlikely to pass Congress this year, if at all."

During his third trip to Iowa this month, Donald Trump warned that if he was not elected president in 2024, the U.S. would see its economy plunge into a “1929”-era depression. His words arrived as the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit a record high Wednesday.

I have been trying for months to get Trump's followers to explain why they support Trump.

As thread shows, they simply are unable to do so.

The media is currently covering a huge story. During war, such as the one in Gaza today, civilians are killed and injured, including women an children. In addition, hospitals get damaged and ambulance service is disrupted. Civilian homes and businesses are damaged and destroyed, forcing men, women, and children to walk the streets.

All this is covered in great detail by ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and others, particularly when children and babies are involved.

Funny thing, though. When the U.S. dropped two atomic bombs on Japan, carpet bombed German, Japan, North Vietnam, and Cambodia, there was no overriding concern for civilians by the media. But when Israel does it in retaliation for a Hamas murder raid, that is just awful and should be stopped immediately according to President Biden.

President Trump was rather cavalier about our nation's deepest secrets. Indeed, he is facing federal charges after stealing classified documents from the White House. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/read-trumps-new-charges-in-the-classified-documents-case

CNN reports, "A binder containing highly classified information related to Russian election interference went missing at the end of Donald Trump’s presidency, raising alarms among intelligence officials that some of the most closely guarded national security secrets from the US and its allies could be exposed, sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

"Its disappearance, which has not been previously reported, was so concerning that intelligence officials briefed Senate Intelligence Committee leaders last year about the missing materials and the government’s efforts to retrieve them, the sources said.

"In the two-plus years since Trump left office, the missing intelligence has not been found.

"The binder contained raw intelligence the US and its NATO allies collected on Russians and Russian agents, including sources and methods that informed the US government’s assessment that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought to help Trump win the 2016 election."

ABC reports, "Friday marks one month until the 2024 Iowa caucuses, the official start to the Republican presidential nominating process. But the primary has been carrying on unofficially for nearly a year now — and in some ways, it is basically already over.

"According to 538's average of national polls, as of Dec. 15, former President Donald Trump leads the primary race with 61 percent. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley are essentially tied for second at 12 percent and 11 percent, respectively. Trump also leads by at least 25 percentage points in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. And when you consider Trump's wide lead alongside how little time remains until voting actually begins, he now looks almost inevitable. Unless a historically unforeseen event happens, Trump is overwhelmingly likely to be his party's nominee next year.

"Since August, Trump has consolidated significant support from GOP voters, and that has raised his probability of winning the primary. His 61 percent in the polls now equates to a more than 9-in-10 chance of winning the nomination.* No presidential candidate in history has lost the nomination while being so far ahead in the national polls this late in the cycle."

I have been following Presidential elections for over five decades. This is, without a doubt, the strangest election I have ever seen. Disregarding campaign rallies, the leading Republican candidate avoids the public, and his followers avoid him (see thread titles by Trump Republicans and this thread).

The Republican Party leader, and the overwhelming choice to become the Republican nominee for President is facing 91 felony counts contained in four criminal indictments.

Trump has been declared guilty in a civil fraud trial in New York. The trial continues so it can determine how much he will pay and whether or not he can continue to do business in the state of New York.

Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has been found guilty of fraud and must pay $148M. The plaintiffs won't get much. Giuliani is broke.

The Democratic Party has given Americans the popular Obamacare. The Republican Party has been trying for years to eliminate the popular health care program, while taking control of the health of pregnant women after their justices voided Roe v. Wade. In doing so, Republican politicians overruled the advice of doctors in many cases. https://www.npr.org/sections/health...788/texas-abortion-ban-supreme-court-kate-cox

The Russian dictator is cheering on the Republican Party. The GOP is siding with Putin in his war of aggression in Ukraine. Republicans are tying support for additional funding to highly partisan changes to border security that have a zero chance in the Senate.

Former President Donald Trump narrowly leads President Joe Biden in a hypothetical 2024 presidential rematch, a new national Wall Street Journal poll finds, with Biden weighed down by relatively soft support among “disaffected Democrats." 47% of registered voters in the US currently say they’d support Trump and 43% say they’d support Biden, with 10% still undecided.

Those supporting Trump don't say a word about their candidate. Perhaps they can't. Maybe they are computer challenged.

That is the only explanation I can come up with.

    Uh-oh! This could be trouble.

CNN reports, "Oil and natural gas prices rose sharply Monday after BP (BP) said it would pause all shipments through the Red Sea because of increased attacks on commercial vessels by Houthi militants from Yemen.

"The decision by one of the world’s biggest oil companies follows similar moves by major shipping firms, something analysts have warned could ripple through global supply chains and increase the costs of moving goods.

"The news also affected the natural gas market. Europe’s benchmark prices for the fuel surged 7.7% to above €35.75 ($39.04) per megawatt hour. That’s just a fraction of the all-time high of €320 ($349.24) per megawatt hour seen in August 2022, at the height of the continent’s energy crisis, but still the most concrete sign yet of disruption in commodity markets following the attacks.

"Aerial assaults by the Iran-backed Houthis, who support Hamas and the Palestinian people, have become more frequent since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war. The militants have claimed the attacks as revenge against Israel. The United States and its allies are now considering whether to expand an existing maritime taskforce in the Red Sea to protect commercial vessels."

Is it time for the Western powers which are dependent upon Arab oil, to eliminate this Islamic terrorist group?

Friendly fire is as much a part of war as is dying, killing, bombing and high civilian death toll. It is a dark tragedy that should be passed on after being reported..

But the media will not do that. This is the fourth day in a row our media is covering this tragic event. Why?

CNN reports, "Israel is reeling from the Israel Defense Forces’ admission that it shot and killed three Israelis in Gaza on Friday. The three had been taken hostage by Hamas during the group’s October 7 terror attack. The IDF says the shooting was against its rules of engagement and that the soldiers involved would face disciplinary procedures."

I could have just as easily reported ABC, CBS, NBC, or a myriad of other sources. They are all saying the same thing.

Israel is facing a deadly enemy that has attacked Israel several times. Israel wants to make it so that the Hamas murder raid on Israeli soil is the last time.

It is time to move on.

CNN reports, "Homebuilder confidence improved in December as mortgage rates continued to fall, according to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index released Monday.

"Builder confidence in the market for newly built single-family homes rose for the first time in four months, climbing to 37 on the index, amid lower mortgage rates and improved economic data that have builders feeling more optimistic heading into 2024.

"The housing market appears to have passed peak mortgage rates for this cycle, and this should help to spur homebuyer demand in the coming months, with the HMI component measuring future sales expectations up six points in December,” said Robert Dietz, chief economist at NAHB, in a statement.

"The pessimism in builder confidence this fall has gone in the opposite direction of gains for the pace of single-family building permits and new construction housing starts," Dietz said.

Everyday, it seems, there is more good news about the economy.

I have been following Presidential elections for over five decades. This is, without a doubt, the strangest election I have ever seen. Disregarding campaign rallies, the leading Republican candidate avoids the public, and his followers avoid him (see thread titles by Trump Republicans and this thread).

I think I know why Republican voters avoid Trump and don't say much about their party

But I am getting ahead of myself.

Trump's support comes from the rural counties of America, which explains his large popularity in Iowa, a farming state. https://inthesetimes.com/article/20...ulism-peoples-action-win-rural-america-report

Then there is this factor."President Trump famously declared during his 2016 campaign that he loved the “poorly educated” because voters with lower levels of schooling delivered an overwhelming share of votes to him," the conservative Washington Times."

Now we come to Trump. This is absolutely surreal.

CNN reports, "Donald Trump’s rhetoric dropped to a spine-tingling new low this weekend with less than a month before the Iowa caucuses.

"The GOP primary front-runner said migrants are “poisoning the blood” of the US and quoted Russian President Vladimir Putin about the “rottenness” of American democracy.

"Whipping up thousands of supporters at a New Hampshire hockey rink on Saturday, the former president again drew comparisons to the language of Nazi Germany with the comments about migrants from mostly Africa, Asia and South America “poisoning the blood of our country.”

ABC reports, "Trump has pleaded not guilty to the 91 charges he faces across four cases in three states and Washington, D.C.

"They're poisoning the blood of our country. That's what they've done," Trump said Saturday in Durham, New Hampshire. "They're coming into our country, from Africa, from Asia, over the world. They're pouring into our country."

"The former president, again, praised authoritarian leaders including Hungary's Viktor Orban, China's Xi Jinping and North Korea's Kim Jong Un -- and called President Joe Biden a "threat to democracy."

"Trump went on to quote Russia's president when calling the criminal cases pending against him "politically motivated."

Trump is an anarchist, and his popularity is growing within Republican ranks!

Therefore, his followers, who admire him, are fascist anarchists who prefer to remain silent about the issues. As this thread shows, Trump Republicans do not wish to disclose their political persuasion.

For those who are complaining about our President, are you saying you prefer Trump? As things stand now, there are only two choices.

Incidentally, is there anyone here who is biracial and a member of Trump's fan club? Trump just said biracial persons are poison, and Trump is experiencing greater support among Hispanics.

"They're poisoning the blood of our country."

CNN reports, "Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels are stepping up their strikes on ships in the Red Sea, which they say are revenge against Israel for its military campaign in Gaza.

"The attacks have forced some of the world’s biggest shipping and oil companies to suspend transit through one of the world’s most important maritime trade routes, which could potentially cause a shock to the global economy.

"The Houthis are believed to have been armed and trained by Iran, and there are fears that their attacks could escalate Israel’s war against Hamas into a wider regional conflict."

The Houthis pose a real danger, and the Western powers are reluctant to do anything about it. If the Houthis are not stopped, Western economies will be seriously harmed.

CNN reports, "Attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea have escalated to a level not seen in decades, leaving the United States and its allies scrambling to protect shipping in a key corridor for the global economy.

"Houthi rebels have launched at least 100 attacks against 12 different commercial and merchant vessels in the Red Sea over the last month, a “very significant breadth of attacks” not seen in at least “two generations,” a senior US military official said Tuesday.

"The Red Sea is home to one of the most important maritime trade routes in the world, and the affects of the attacks have had far-reaching reverberations, with at least 44 countries having connections to vessels attacked by the Houthis, and wider international trade being disrupted due to the attacks.

"The attacks have escalated since the beginning of the war between Israel and Hamas, sparked by the October 7 terrorist attack that killed about 1,200 Israelis. As Israel ramped up its retaliation for the attack, the Houthis began targeting ships that it accused of in some way support Israel’s war effort though multiple companies that have been targeted have said they have no connection with Israel or the war."

As far as the Houthis are concerned, the U.S. wants to talk them to death.

"The strikes prompted Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to announce the formation of a coalition of at least 10 countries to focus on security in the Red Sea, saying the attacks “threaten the free flow of commerce and endanger innocent mariners.”

"The coalition, part of Operation Prosperity Guardians, involves member ships being available near the Red Sea to respond to attacks."

"Respond to attacks?" In other words, the response from the powerful West will be purely defensive, meaning shooting down the drones and missiles attacking the ships.

There are no plans to go on the offensive and attack the Houthi bases, the launching sites for the missiles and drones attacking ships bound for Western markets. Why not? What are we afraid of?

Our government is not addressing those two questions. Instead, following the Hamas murder raid on Israeli soil, we are telling the IDF how they should fight.

"They're poisoning the blood of our country. That's what they've done. They're coming into our country, from Africa, from Asia, over the world. They're pouring into our country. President Joe Biden a threat to democracy."

Politico reports, "The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that Donald Trump is disqualified by the Constitution from serving as president again because he stoked an insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021.

"The 4-3 ruling, which rests on an interpretation of the 14th Amendment, will almost certainly force the issue to the U.S. Supreme Court to resolve whether Trump, the leading candidate for the Republican nomination, is eligible to hold future public office."

Elected by farmers and rural shopkeepers in the rural counties of America -- hence explaining his huge lead in Iowa, a farming state -- Trump is considered to be the worst President the country has ever had. He ended his term by leading an insurrection and stealing classified documents.

Trump is, indeed, an anarchist, setting out to destroy American politics and government.

Want proof? This thread, his followers choose not to defend him. They don't even talk about him.
