But as you know, the language cited by me and the court shows states can’t secede. It’s why Texas was never NOT part of the union during the civil war. You remain, refuted.

The clause you cited gives explicit permission for states to secede.

Not according to the language cited, as the court pointed out. It’s why Texas was never NOT part of the union during the civil war.

Yes. According to the language cited. The article, section, and clause you cited specifically allows any state to secede.

I grow bored of your evasion. Cite the article, section, and clause, or I'm done with you.

Right? I love that @rahl is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He must insist that "the clause" prohibits secession, and yet he is impotent to actually cite "the clause".

    I love it.

you don’t seem to know what that word means. Directly refuting your claim, by providing exactly what you asked for is in no way an evasion. Lol.

Already cited the specific language precluding states from seceding. As you know.

I don’t get why you think pretending I didn’t specifically cite it, when there is a written record of me doing so? Lol

Because you haven't cited ****. Nothing from the Constitution and an irrelevant court ruling where you never provide language from said ruling (because it doesn't exist) to back up your claim.

He knows he's lost. I've sufficiently demonstrated he can't paste the text from the constitution. Now it's in the record for all to see. It's just boring at this point.

The Constitution makes ZERO provision to leave he Union therefore a State can't unless an amendment is added you know we fought bloody Civil War to bring the States into compliance so a State obviously can't do that and doing so would be High Treason if State officials do so.

Cool. Can you state the constitutional text you're referring to? Not just a "court ruling" that can be overturned? Can you cite the actual constitutional text as all of you have been claiming exists? A war was fought because it DOES NOT exist. So if it's that easy for you to cite- just do it in your response to my comment. If you fail to do so...I thank you!

That's a cool post you keep repeating. What part of the constitution are you attempting to cite? The constitution is very simple. Just cite the text from it you claim exists- and we'll be on our way!

Or you can keep deflecting again with court rulings lol!

The constitution contains language prohibiting any of the several sovereign states from withdrawing from the union? Can you tell us the article, section, and clause, and perhaps paste the language here?

He keeps talking about some court ruling, as if that is any sort of response to my assertion. My assertion has nothing to do with the court. It is about the content of the constitution. I have asserted that the constitution contains no language prohibiting any of the states from withdrawing from the union.

Maybe he keeps linking to the court ruling because there really isn't any such language in the constitution.

pretending I haven't cited the ruling, and the specific language in the constitution just makes you look silly.

I'm happy to keep on proving you wrong.................http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/the-fair-vote.564549/page-50#post-1071260856

Yes, and he or she has not ONCE cited the constitutional text to which they claim exists. When some alt left radicals get backed into a corner...they cling to the phrase "Just read the ruling! They made the ruling!!!" lol.
