Free market capitalism is bad for the average American manufacturing worker, ya know, the middle class.

Trump ran on America first not free market capitalism first.

Free market capitalism first is what is happening in Russia...but you hate Putin.:roflol:

The invasive RINOs of Trumpery attacking outnumbered police defending democracy, and spewing death threats at judges, FBI agents protecting national security, and others who refuse to kowtow, is part of their jihad against the law and order their object of mindless veneration is not above.

I wish the GOP well in its recovery.

When referring to the FBI in my OP, I'm not talking about antigovernment inspired terrorism I'm talking about progovernment inspired terrorism.

Capitalism is a thing and not a person so I don't think, technically, capitalism can devolve into fascism but, IMO, capitalism left unchecked (like NAFTA) can devolve into no exporting of American manufacturing products to other countries.

No, you couldn't possibly imagine someone could know what the FBI's purpose is, when it's plain as day.

The only ignorance you are proving is your own.

that sounds like an oxymoron to my ears, so, provide and example, link to something, let's see what, precisely, you are talking about.

Do you mean like HB 7 in Florida? Thanks for confirming that DeSantis is a wannabe dictator in the making.

As for vaccines, vaccines have done a lot of good in the past. It is how we got rid of polio, smallpox, chicken pox, etc. Covid was no different in the early days where there were few protocols that actually were useful in mitigating and treating the disease, even in early 2021. There was no mandate for vaccines other than government employees. There were incentives, however, to get people vaccinnated to help reduce the spread of a very communicable disease where not everyone affected showed signs of that disease.

Are you going to pretend as though you too, do not understand that Biden attempted to force an ultimatum upon private employers to coerce them to cause their employees to be vaccinated or fired? That will give you something in common with @FreshAir

Maybe you can find more common ground by claiming that he was just "bluffing" ?

if you knew what it was you would state it and it would probably dispel all of the people saying that it has no purpose I think what happened is there was some truth and it triggered you.
calling people names is always the behavior of someone with a strong and well reasoned position.

    Lol

You need to brush up on the definition for fascism. Biden (and Liz Cheney) are more fascist, for example, than Trump...Biden (and Liz Cheney) are more authoritarian than Trump.

Putin is authoritarian in foreign policy...Er, no more so authoritarian in foreign policy than Zelensky...Putin wants to free those regions in the east of Ukraine (the Donbass, etc.) who never wanted to be Ukrainian but wanted to remain Russian. Zelensky (and the other world actors) are trying to force those in those regions of eastern Ukraine to remain Ukrainian even though those in the eastern regions of Ukraine never desired to be Ukranian. I don't think it's even close when one compares Putin to Zelensky that Putin is on the side of democracy in Ukraine.

Economically, Putin is for free market capitalism.

Putin is literally invading another country to try to take over some of its territory. That is both authoritarian and it has nothing to do with "free market capitalism." No one is dumb enough to think that Put supports democracy anywhere, and even less so in Ukraine.

Okay, I challenge to you on your claim.

So, are honest in your assertion, and not trying to merely defame Cheney and Biden you will be happy to provide evidence for your claim that Biden and Cheney are more fascist than Trump, that Biden and Cheney are more authoritarian than Trump.

But, I will grant you this, if you claim they are 'more than', at least you admit Trump is both fascist and authoritarian, just not as much.

So, you are half right. Biden and Cheney are not Fascist whatsoever, but Trump has strong fascist tendencies. as the examples, below, reveal.

Unlike you, I will provide well-established examples of Trump's fascist/dictatorial tendencies, and substantiation of each example provided on request:

    1. Trump praised Putin at Helsinki, stated to the world that he would trust Putin over Trump's intel staff, that he had no reason to disbelieve Putin.
    2. Trump invited Russia to commit cyber espionage on national TV. (For those who claim he was joking, no, he wasn't. Moreover, that is not something a responsible candidate for President would ever joke about, but those that would, if, indeed, that were the case, which it is not, that is more fascistic than any president in history ). Russia tried to hack Clinton immediately following that 'joke'.
    3. On many occasions, Trump has advocated, quite literally, a violent treatment of his detractors.
    4. Trump has joked about being a 'permanent' President. (A Freudian slip revealing his fascist dreams).
    5. When Congress enacted sanctions against Russia, Trump slow walked them, delayed them as long as he could, and then claimed he was 'tough' on Russia
    6. Trump declared that the press was the 'enemy of the people' ( right out of the fascist's playbook)
    7. Trump told the Proud Boys to 'Stand Back and Stand By'. They were unleased by his speech on Jan 6 and attacked the capitol
    8. Trump, before the first ballot was ever cast, without ever producing concrete evidence that could survive forensic examination, declared that the only way Democrats could win is if they rigged the election
    9. Trump attempted pressure the DOJ to prosecute his detractors, in contrast to the long established tradition of the independent DOJ.
    10. Trump appoints many cabinet secretaries who were former heads of industry that the cabinets regulate. Fascists love it when the the proverbial fox is guarding the hen house.
    11. Trump pardons criminals who criminal acts benefited Trump.
    12. Trump bilks US Taxpayer out of millions billing the Taxpayers for his entourage stays and his hotels and resorts.
    13. Trump installs Daughter and Son-In-Law in key consultant posts in the White House, which they, in turn, use the contacts they gain from the high office to enrich themselves. Ivanka got profited millions to the quick trademarks from China she used to sell tens of millions of dollars worth of products to Chinese citizens, all products made in China, and the trademarks were granted while her daddy was Negotiating trade deals with China. Jared got a $500,000,000 bailout deal from QATAR, and he also got $2,000,000,000 from the House of Saud for a dubious investment fund, not to mention Mnuchin, the Treasure Secretary got $1,000,000,000 from the House of Saud, as well. All fascists are corrupt using their positions to enrich themselves.
    14. Trump has beein using his fame as president and the former president to grift hundreds of millions from his base which go to his leadership PAC, the 'Save America Pac' which is now under investigation, which he used the funds to spend on legal and personal expenses.
    15. While Trump was campaigning in 2016, he claimed, over and over and over he and 'nothing to do with Russia', but we have his signed letter of intent to build a hotel in Moscow, whereupon he promised to give Putin the $50,000,000 penthouse suite.
    16. Trump has badgered and intimidated impeachment witnesses.
    17. Trump has promised pardons to witnesses to influence their testimony, a crime called 'witness tampering'.
    18. Trump tried to get the president of Ukraine to falsely claim his country was investigating Biden, his 2020 opponent, in exchange for releasing millions in funds already appropriated by Congress, which was an act to bribe a foreign leader for a corrupt private gain.
    19. Trump continued to inculcate his base with the lie that Democrats stole the election, which caused a juggernaut of rage so great than on Jan 6 it erupted and manifested as an attack on the Capitol Building, delaying the joint session of congress, which has resulted in the Congressional Jan 6 investigation committee.
    20. Trump stole national defense documents and took them from their secure locations to Mar A Lago, in violation of the Espionage Act which has triggered a DOJ investigation.
    21. Trump has been grifting millions from his base and the money goes into his Save America Pac, which he has been using as a veritable slush fund, such as $60k when to Melania's fashion designer.

And in case you mistakenly believe you are going to put on your list mask mandates and covid vaccines, these are not authoritarian nor fascist, given that, any attempt to keep AMerica healthy and thwart disaster by reasonable means cannot be construed as authoritarian or fascist, as long as the mandate's refusal is not illegal, which they are not.

I will await your evidence. If not, your comment is dismissed.

Elizabeth Warren's credit-card coding on gun sales seems ... fascist.

'While President Joe Biden is decrying “MAGA Republicans” as fascist, members of his own party are actively working to get your credit card company to start tracking you and reporting you to the government. Because that’s not fascist at all.'

    NARRATOR'S VOICE: "THAT'S SARCASM"

Semi-Fascist 'Democrat lawmakers including Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Dianne Feinstein just sent a letter to the CEO of American Express demanding that the company to monitoring gun purchases. They demand that the credit card company to create a special category for gun purchases — right now they’re categorized as “miscellaneous retail stores” — and use that information to report people to the police.'

'Warren's scheme of private financial tracking and collusion with the government sure seems fascist.'

    Semi-Fascists are going to fascist.

The coding on guns is designed to make sure only the owners of the weapon can fire it. Taht's a public safety issue, to prevent the black market sales of guns. Fascism isn't concerned with public safety. So, wrong.
Please provide actual evidence, not jokes.
'Semi-fascism' is a claim. No evidence provided. Fail.
Debunked, above. Warren's proposal cannot become law unless it's voted into law by both houses, and signed by the President.

Rule of law is not fascism. Just because you don't like the law, doesn't make it fascist. Her law is designed to make the public more safer.

Fascism is the rule of men, over law.

    Get your terms straight.

    Epic fail.
