Last night I watched Flying Objects: A State Secret, on Prime. WOW!

Paul Hellyer [former Canadian Defense Minister],
Ed Mitchell [One of the astronauts who walked on the moon as well as a MIT Doctor of Science],
the former head of the secret CIA program to monitor UFOs [I don't have his name handy],

and of all people, Harry Reid [Former Senate Majority Leader],

all state plainly that ET is here. Reid is the one who got funding for the CIA program.

Robert Bigelow, founder and president of Bigelow Aerospace, also states that ET is here and his company is one that has reverse engineered alien technology.

    Well worth the watch

Don't you think it's interesting that all ET sightings are a one-off? ET's travel forever to arrive at Earth only to be seen one time on a radar screen and then they disappear? Why aren't these sightings omnipresent and happening 24/7? Out of 100's or 1000's of them not a single one thought about saying hello or nanoo-nanoo? Not a single one of them needed some fuel or food or smokes?

I 100% believe there are ET's scattered around the Universe, however, they are not visiting Earth for a few seconds of time just to pique people's curiosity?

Who says they do? You're the only one I've ever heard claim that. The most obvious early example being the recurring appearance of UFOs over Washington DC in 1952.

How should ET act and how do you know?

How many people claim to have been abducted? You can't ignore the very claims you claim don't exist. I don't know if people are really being abducted or not but I don't know if ET would want to hang out at the bar either.

Whitley Strieber claims to be a lifelong abductee. He also claims that he hung out with aliens that danced. smoked [IIRC], and liked strawberry ice cream.

So I guess now you're convinced, right? That's what you wanted.

One of the more impressive events, several dozen children claimed a UFO landed or hovered near their school. They ran towards the craft and allegedly some came within arm's length of one of two aliens standing outside the craft. The children claimed the little men put images into their heads of pending disasters on earth if we don't change our ways. They children, ages 5 to 12 were interviewed extensively and told highly consistent stories. The adults there said there is no way the kids could have all faked this. And 20 years later the children, now grown, tell the same stories.

This Week, with George Stephanopoulos, discussed the Navy videos with the head of the Pentagon program and another retired Col Steve Ganyard. Ganyard is fascinated by the videos but makes a classic and very common logical error. He was addressing the idea of some group having alien bodies or alien technology. And he dismisses that based on the argument that the government can't keep big complicated secrets. If it were true it would have been leaked by now.

This obviously flawed logic is so common yet so easy to debunk: IT HAS BEEN LEAKED!!! There have been hundreds or thousands of books written on the subject. Many of those telling these stories are former military and intelligence officials.

This photo was published in a book back in the 70s and was claimed to have come from Area 51. This was two decades before anyone admitted the place existed.

You had to go back to 1952? UFO sightings are one-off...period. You actually believe UFO's the size of a US fighter jet can travel light-years? After all this time the fact remains there is no hard evidence of UFO's. Why would you focus on people who 'claim' something? Why must people make something out of nothing? If Earth is ever visited by an ET, and people everywhere make contact with them, then you'll have some evidence. Until then...you and others have nothing but science-fiction wishes.

Again, I believe ET's exist across the Universe. However, without ASSUMING new physics, I believe ET's across the Universe have the identical issues we have; the largeness of space and time. Just because they are out there does not mean we must meet and greet! It does not mean they are visiting Earth...

It always makes me laugh when people gullible enough to mistake an aircraft for a UFO, decide everyone is as gullible as they are!

They key is that the object performs in a manner that exceeds the limits of any imaginable human technology. This is day 1 of UFO 101.

LOL! You clearly know nothing about this subject. No, I just picked one of the first famous cases.

I see this is a religion for you.

Did I say that? Quote me.

Tell me what evidence you would accept. Be specific.

I cited a case where multiple UFOs were tracked on RADAR several nights in a row and chased by fighter jets. Is this all too complicated for you? You don't seem to understand what was posted.

Why is the sky blue? What would it be like to ride horses on the moon?

I have not stated one conclusion. You however have made it clear this is a religious belief for you.

If you can't even face the evidence, if it scares you too much or threatens your world view too much, your have no right to have any opinions at all.

    No Cliff Clavins please!

Hmm... that video account is slightly different than I remember it.

For one, I don't remember that the kids were scared that it was a demon that ate kids from local folklore.

For two, I didn't know there were a group of craft, I thought there was just one.

For three, I don't recall the children having additional contacts over the years. I thought it was just that one contact at the school years ago.

This is the second time I've encountered a story of an ET sighting that is different from what I remember happening.

And, now, a philosophical pondering. What if there were multiple UFO/craft because the same UFO went back in time from 3 different future timelines and they almost ran into each other at the target point? One craft made the encounter while the other two observed?

I also forgot that the message that the aliens gave to the children is different as well. Before now, they were given visions of their future jobs and given information that would be useful to them. This time it's warnings of terrible events to come.

It seems like there's some time-travel trickery going on. I shouldn't be able to tell that there are changes in the timeline either, but I have something going on that may allow me to tell of changes in the timeline. I won't get into it here.

OK ALL the UFO Enthusiasts are going to hate this but ... here goes.

A series of video's debunking (i.e. providing mundane, alternate explanations for) certain famous recent video clips of alleged UFO's.

Now from the onset I am well aware this will have zero impact on all the PF 'true believers' out there but that is not my intention. Instead it is to point out that like it or not there are perfectly reasonable, mundane explanations for all the recent alleged 'evidence' of UFOs. The being the case as proponents of the radical theory (i.e these things are UFOs) the burden of proof lies with all of you. You need to eliminate these mundane explanations as the route causes of the observed phenomenon.

Or in other words - its not up to UFO skeptics to debunk your case you have to debunk ours.

I don't know about that one. But the others involve speeds and accelerations beyond what the Navy jets can achieve.

So they would have to be magic birds.

In another video, the pilot states that the UFO is flying into a 120 knot wind.

The point the author makes is that those are the apparent speeds, distances and accelerations of the objects concerned not the real speeds, distances accelerations etc. He is saying that real and apparent measurements can vary wildly dependent on factors like the angle of observation, the speed of the observer relative to the target and other characteristics like the type of camera/device being used to make the measurements.

He also makes an interesting point about one video, noting that the 30 clip of 'leaked' video stops precisely before the point where the observing aircraft was coming round to a bearing of 360 degrees relative to the target i.e. right on its tail. Which is exactly the point where the true speed relative to the plane would have been capable of determination. In other words another 5 seconds of tape would have determined how 'real' the bogie was, yet that section did not get leaked and its obvious from the clip that there was/is further video.

This is not that difficult....there is no evidence of UFO's...period. I know all I need to know about this subject; there is no evidence!

If you believe UFO sightings are in fact ET's, and all of them are small ships, then YOU believe ET's flew light-years in a tiny craft to visit Earth. I suppose there could be a mother-ship but then again there's zero evidence of this as well.

Again, ET's flew light-years in their tiny craft, exposed themselves for several nights, but no evidence of anything? They just show up the same time each night and that's it?

You obviously don't read my posts, for if you did, you would know I firmly believe ET's exist across the Universe. However, there is zero evidence an ET craft has entered Earth's atmosphere. There is zero evidence of any ET abductions.

Actually, when YOU'RE dealing with nothing but OPINIONS, and no empirical evidence, everyone has a right to chime in...

OK here's more of the same from my previous post i.e. an analysis debunking claims made about the three famous Pentagon 'UFO' videos known as FLIR, GIMBAL & GOFAST. This summery is more precise/succinct that the previous ones

    https://www.nextbigfuture.com/2021/...ng-the-ufo-videos-and-claims.html#more-171429

Interestingly the author of the link (above) at NextBigFuture also references a paper analyzing the same videos which supports the contention that the objects in the videos might be UFO's.

Point is the videos in and of themselves resolve nothing because depending on the analysis you do you can end up with contradictory results. So, until such time as we actually have solid forensic evidence of the existence of aliens on or near Earth their existence remains purely a matter of speculation. Ergo the ball is still in the 'pro UFO' camp - produce that evidence.

Looking at a map last night showing UFO sightings around the world, it was quite interesting to see zillions of sightings in the USA, but almost none in Canada or Mexico. So not only do your ET's fly light-years across the Universe to visit Earth in tiny craft, but they know when they get here that the USA is the place to buzz...no need to buzz Canada or Mexico?
