Do it yourself gun manufacturing now possible with new technology. Is this the end of meaningful gun control ?

Nah, GCA’s will try to outlaw simply thinking about guns...they are headed in that direction when there is applause for suspending a student for chewing a pop tart into an ‘L’ shape to discourage thinking about guns. It’s the thought that counts.

I always wonder how accurate and reliable these home made guns are?

Do they give you 1/2 m.o.a. accuracy like a Remington?

Do they give you complete reliability like a Ruger?

Do they always watch over you like the angels of God together with a Smith and Wesson?

I mean at the point where 3d printing is as ubiquitous as in the video? Yes they will.
Can you take apart your gun like legos and buy off the shelf parts with standardized connections (screws, pins etc)? Then a 3d printer that can do metal can make essentially all of those parts with the right instructions.
If you've got some sort of fancy bespoke custom job with screws never made any where else? You can scan the parts you've got and translate them to cad instructions for the printer.
They did a similar thing at nasa, a particular tool was needed at the ISS so they scanned it and "faxed" the part up to the 3d printer which built it on the ISS.

CNC milling for many parts is more efficient and faster, Receivers etc.

Barrel making, the critical part for accuracy, is a specialty and can be bought off the shelf and configured, for most applications.

"The alleged victim, an unnamed 16-year-old girl from Central Texas, told a counselor she'd had sex with Wilson Aug. 15, 2018, in an Austin hotel before he paid her $500, according to the arrest warrant affidavit filed Wednesday in Travis County District Court."

If true it doesn't sound like Mr. Wilson has much respect for the law. That wouldn't be surprising. He may not be able to legally own or print his own firearms much longer.

No. They're crap. But they're getting better. Not only is plastic technology increasing with sturdier, more heat resistant materials, but metal printers are increasing in capability as well. A printable, reliable, quality firearm is just a matter of time.

But if a firearm can be printed, so can medical devices, electronics, tools, furniture, toys... attempts to disrupt this technology will disrupt a major boon to the lower classes who would benefit from cheaper products.

The GCA's are going to have a tough choice to make- restrict a technology that could by great leaps raise the economic standard of living planetwide, or keep guns controlled.

If the technology is that relevant there is no way it will be stopped, homemade guns, or not.

    Agreed.

The question more likely will be- how much human energy and focus wasted in trying?

Yep, And a CNC milling machine that can be used to make AR Lowers can be had for under 1k and the G code for doing it has been available on line for some time. Build the lower, buy the rest of the parts online.

Until there is actual evidence of wrongdoing, the above complaint carries no more credibility than the unfounded accusations leveled against Brett Kavanaugh.

The technology necessary to produce firearms, in varying degrees of complexity, reliability and durability, at home will never go away. The anti-gun left will try its damnedest to put the herd back in the thimble, but will fail.
