no where obviously. But we know capitalism works 10000 better from how USSR and Red China and East Germany slowly starved 120 million to death.

The "Chinese Communist Party" rules the country, yes, but its policies have been less and less communistic since 1978, when Deng Xiaopeng took over after Mao's death and started liberalizing the economy as fast as he could starting by opening up several "Special Economic Zones.

Healthcare in China consists of both public and private medical institutions and insurance programs. About 95% of the population has at least basic health insurance coverage. Despite this, public health insurance generally only covers about half of medical costs, with the proportion lower for serious or chronic illnesses. Under the "Healthy China 2020" initiative, China is currently undertaking an effort to cut healthcare costs, and the government requires that insurance will cover 70% of costs by 2017.[1][2][2] The Chinese government is working on providing affordable basic healthcare to all residents by 2020.[3]

Looks like they are adopting a more gov't mandated type health care system. So no capitalistic health care system in their near future.

Socialism and communism were not present anywhere in the world in the 1760-1800 time frame when Paine was active in politics here and abroad. Having just read him recently, I bought copies of Common Sense, Rights of Man and the Age of Reason about three months ago, it is clear to me that you know nothing about Paine. It might do you good to read them yourself or you could take the easy way out and watch a youtube video of his life and works. Until then, stop trying to debate me because it is apparent that whatever you think you know about Paine was shoved down your throat by a talk radio host. As for your Jefferson quote, He lived in the era of monarchies and quasi-representative governments, there were no other forms of governments in the world at that time. From the time of the Roman Republic until the 1770s, every form of government that ever existed was a monarchy or some form of combined royal and religious government. What he said was purely a figment of his imagination and purely speculative since no other forms of governance had ever really existed.

Was that not true in Great Britain and France at the time? Do you grasp the fundamental message of Paine or did you find this little snippet on a right wing website and proclaim in total ignorance "Eureka!".

yes it was true at time with the monarchies living off of taxes and true today with liberal leeches living off taxes.

"Some] seem to think that [civilization's] advance has brought on too complicated a state of society, and that we should gain in happiness by treading back our steps a little way. I think, myself, that we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious. I believe it might be much simplified to the relief of those who maintain it." Thomas Jefferson to William Ludlow, 1824. ME 16:75

Yes and liberals want that too. Hitler Stalin and Mao Castro were monarchs. Why did you think our liberals spied for Stalin and Hitler and elected Obama who supports single payer communism.

Why do you rely upon the words of a man who lived over 200 years ago as if his ideas and thoughts were universally applicable to this time and era? You might be unaware of the fact that Jefferson's view was simply his opinion, many others at the time vehemently opposed him both politically and philosophically. Take Hamilton for instance, they were bitter enemies as was Adams. Do you think quoting any of them means anything today beyond a history lesson in out of context quoting?

Virtually everything that we use from him came from his imagination, his education, his philosophy, his bias and his personal view of utopia. It is no more interesting than any other. Personally, I prefer Paine to Jefferson but then which Paine? The one who wrote Common Sense or the one who wrote the Age of Reason? Your posts use a form of logical fallacy much like religious people do when quoting Aquinas, very interesting but as Artie Shaw once said "but schtupid".

of course that's way beyond absurd. Jefferson founded the Republican Party in 1793 with Madison in what he called the Second American Revolution. Jefferson thus defined the American idea. Liberalism was nothing until it was inspired by welfare is good Marxists in the 1930's. NOw youve got the basics of American History.

yes and Jefferson and the American people vanguished Hamilton and Adams with their Federalist party thus creating American greatness and exceptionalism. As a liberal you are opposed to the basic principles of America that made it great and for soviet principles that would destroy it.

totally liberal and 100% nutty :
    1) corporation competition is now global so power of American corporation is shrinking badly

    2) top 1% pay 44% of all federal income tax while most of working class pays little to nothing.

    Sorry to rock your world

I understand your learning disability may cause you some reading issues.
I never ever said what you are claiming. I typed this as slow as I could. Take your time reading it. Read it over and over if it is to complicated.
