I think you're right that he would eventually be convicted and serve prison time under normal circumstances, but the timing I'm not so sure about. He may be able to run out the clock and be president before a conviction and use the presidency as a weapon to fight/prevent convictions.

Ah, then what was your purpose in creating this thread, that "MAGAs don't realize that Trump is screwed" because "the chances that Trump will be in prison at this time next year are close to 100%" if having him in prison doesn't prevent his election?

Nope. Funnily enough, the grenade attacks coincided with another event.

Biden, Obama, Secretary Clinton.... and all the elected officials who sit in the European Union.

They are probably all part of the conspiracy.

But Trump demanded from Zelensky that only Biden be prosecuted.....

    Prove it.

Unfortunately for you, if it were only liberal women who fought for the right to abortion, it would have been banned in all red states. Is that the case ?

Many seditionists and +300 MAGA rioters were also gassed that day.

    No.

The US has the highest homicide rate of any G20 country.

Because being sentenced to prison doesn't fall into your definition of "being screwed" ?

Would you proudly vote for Trump if he is in prison at the time of election?

Sure, it screws Trump, but what does it have to do with MAGAs? He'd still be POTUS, and thats what they want.
You already asked me that question. I can't answer it any more clearly than I already have, multiple times. Posts #195, #206 and #213. Maybe you forgot...

Yet Biden was the one saying it on camera.

    Enjoy your $16 Big Macs.

    I don't know, I'm not a biologist.

Many political prisoners that did nothing violent, at all.

    It doesn't.

SA is 7 times higher. Mexico is 4 times higher. Russia is equal. Argentina is 75% of the US homicide rate and India is about half.

52% of Conservatives say they will not vote for Trump if he is convicted of a criminal offense.

So a Trump becoming POTUS while in prison is highly unlikely.

It's because I believed that our discussions could have helped you evolve.

You would be comfortable voting for a criminal to be President.

    I understood very well.

When we talk about the moral bankruptcy of the Conservatives, I now know how important it is.

    Did you vote for Obama?
Did it matter to you that he smoked weed, when weed was illegal?
Would it have mattered to you if he had been caught and gone to jail for it?

I didn't vote for him. But I don't think voting for an admitted criminal was 'immoral', nor would I if he had gone to jail for it.

I imagine that when we equate a crime like smoking marijuana with stealing top secret documents, attempting to overthrow democracy, or organizing a riot at the Capitol, we can convince ourselves that it's moral to vote for a candidate who is in prison.

    Do you have children?

The govt classifies everything. What makes you so sure the classification of these documents was more reasonably applied than the classification of marijuana as a schedule 1 narcotic? (which I hope we can both agree is a ridiculous classification)
A 10-day delay of election certification is not 'overthrowing democracy.' Its delaying it a little bit. To investigate claims of fraud. Which if true, could completely undermine democracy.
Trump didn't organize the riot. He led a demonstration, and a minority of the demonstrators rioted. Claims that he somehow instigated it by 'dogwhistling' or w/e are ridiculous, and themselves speak volumes about the state of our justice system, that they ever made any legal headway at all.
I notice you didn't answer the question.

The FBI went to seize the documents at Mar-A-Lago because there was a national security risk.

    Don't you remember?

You forget some small, insignificant details.

The State of Georgia is suing Trump because he and his accomplices attempted to set up a fake elector scheme to fraudulently get him elected.

Among those who pleaded guilty was one of Trump's lawyers and mastermind of this criminal affair, Kenneth Chesebro, who will testify against his boss at trial.

The 1/6 Commission has proof that Trump helped organize the rally to prevent the vote from being certified.

And while the MAGA stormed the Capitol, Trump watched on television.

What really makes me laugh in your defense of Trump is that you don't say he's innocent..... but that he's going to get away with it because his trial has changes of being postponed.

    Totally pathetic.

He is innocent of any of the alleged crimes.

They're all opportunists. Nothing they say will change the fact that he didn't commit the crimes he's been accused of.

Tell us how that Georgia case is going and then try to convince us that you only want the law to be upheld...lol

    Spoken like a mobster.

Most of the time, it only takes one repentant witness to send any mafia godfather to jail.

Trump already has a dozen of his aides who have a deal with the DOJ or the state of Georgia.

    Are you keeping the faith?

    Everything's fine, what's the problem?

How can you or anyone make a firm statement about his "innocence"??? There is a reason that he has been charged in so many legal issues.
IF he was innocent, there would be no legal issues and all this legal drama

why is it so hard to accept that HE and HE alone; is responsible for HIS actions???

As has been stated: the Trump/GOP group is morally, ethically and legally bankrupt.

The values that can hold a society together and civilized don't seem to exist anymore.

The DA (that isn't Leticia James...lol. You think Leticia James is the AG in Georgia? Really?) has been caught committing multiple felonies...lol

Of course there's a reason he's been charged. The reasons are purely political.

You proved my point when you claimed the entire GOP is guilty of all the same crimes.

Since they testify against your guru, they can only be liars.

    1- Which felony (crime)?

2- How does this jeopardize Trump's trial?

Are you so blinded by Trumpism to believe that your political agenda is the most important thing there is?

They pleaded guilty to reduce a prison sentence.

If they perjure themselves during their testimony, they'll do jail time.

Do you understand what I just wrote?

    Link ?

NOT crimes. The GOP is (seems to be) guilty of moral, and ethical bankruptcy,By supporting T they are indicating that their value system has changed (and deteriorated) .
