Such power!! Feel it surging through your veins!! Wait, we aren't the chief executives with the "Ban Hammer". But, rest assured, Beloved Chairman Bloomberg has thought this all out, and it is really better for the ER's. My only question is what's next? Who will he smite next?

From abused prescription drugs to fake haair in two posts; the power of extreme exaduration and fear on display.

The USA uses some 80% of the worlds supply of prescription pain killers. 80%!!! Are you guys in that much pain?

The laws for prescription in Florida are significantly lower than anywhere else in the US, people travel from many states, to go there and get their drugs prescribed; they are addicted!!

    "There oughta be a law...."
    "No one needs...."

One person violates the "social contract"....
the rest of "the village's" inhabitants must.... via blanket, preemptive punishment laws.... suffer the consequences....for "the common good", of course.

the Progressives' approach to almost everything.....
and the very essence of this extremely arrogant, dangerously authoritarian, collectivist mindset is perfectly revealed in my sig below...

Didn't Obama say no government will get between you and your doctor? But Obamacare created a climate where health care is being mandated by politicians. Bloomberg is merely the logical and all too foreseeable extension of the government knows best mentality.

The "point" is that the drunk-with-imaginary-power Bloomberg obviously feels that he is entitled to dictate to New Yorkers about any facet of their personal lives and business.

I just love the way that progressives believe that bureaucrats and politicians know better than experts on every topic. The bureaucrats somehow know better than doctors how many doses of painkillers their patients need. I'd rather let the doctor decide than some politician or bureaucrat.

Americans are the largest abusers of prescription pain killers on the planet! These "patients" are not ill in the traditional sense, they are ill because they are addicted to extremely dangerous prescrition medication!

Do you actually believe that all or even most emergency room patients are there to abuse prescription medication? That doctors can't tell the deference between someone complaining of fake pain and someone who ran their hand through a garbage disposal? You would have the bureaucrats limit the amount of painkillers someone who gets their arm crushed by a pile of concrete to three days, just because you are afraid a few other patients might be abusing painkillers.
