    Talk about a “wam pile of flapdoodle “ perhaps you should not emotionalism a ZEF by calling it a child. It is illegal to kill a child ..why not call a zygote a toddler, you could get more emotional mileage

    Whether we wish to admit it or not, the fact remains that abortion-on-demand is either (a) a woman's choice or (b) murder. That is a stark choice, yes. But it is really hard to see, intellectually, how a third possibility might exist.

    And which it is all depends upon the seminal question: Is an unborn child (or a "fetus," as some prefer) actually a part of the mother's body? Or is he (or she) a separate being?

    At one time, I thought the former.

    But I have since learned that the child has a different DNA. Therefore, it is a different being.

    Yes, the child is attached to the mother through an umbilical cord. But that does not make the two a part of the same being--anymore than, say, a wrench is a part of your car--just because it is in your car.

    I really have no emotional attachment in this matter. This just seems to me like the soundest reasoning.

    That is not the seminal question as the unborn is already defined as a separate being/fetus living within a woman. The real question would be does that being get to decide what she does with her body, or actually do strangers get to decide what it decides for her.

    There is no "either".



    The fetus is part of the woman's body...if it wasn't part of her body and her body isn't sustaining it's life then it should be able to be taken out of the woman, set on a shelf to grow on it's own.


    Having DNA does NOT make anything a PERSON.

    IF it was a "person" it has no right to use other to sustain it's life without their consent....

    Then remove this 1/10th of an ounce “child” , a separate person, and raise it. It’s a POTENTIAL baby. Like an acorn is a potential tree. ..
