Parasite is a scientific term for an entity that lives off another, it isn't always an insult ...it has to do with science and facts..

And whether a poster had children or not , or loved them or not (that has nothing to do with anything) ….. they were all parasites at one time..

I don't. Since when did this become about "punishment?" In order to receive punishment, someone has to have done something illegal don't they? I don't think pregnant women have done anything illegal! They've done the most amazingly beautiful and special thing in the world! Why would we want to "punish" that?

I pity those that missed out on the love, warmth, happiness, strength, and joy that a proud, unashamed parent receives from their children.

A fetus is a fetus. It is not legitimate nor illegitimate, it is neither innocent nor non-innocent.
The sex act that caused a fetus has nothing to do with what the fetus is or isn't.

OK, I'll state another way, a fetus is exactly the same, an abortion is exactly the same whether it came about due to rape or consensual sex.

Banning abortion due to consensual sex is punishing women for having consensual sex especially if an exception is made for rape.

Not necessarily, many people are punished when they have done nothing wrong.

Becoming pregnant is not doing something wrong so women shouldn't be punished by being forced to gestate.

It is up to the pregnant woman to decide if it's a "beautiful and special thing" for her, not you, not the government, just the pregnant person.

For some women it's obviously NOT a "beautiful special thing"...why do you think women have sought out abortions for the last thousand years ??

...it's her life, her body, she should have the same rights everyone else has..

If you really believe that an unborn child is merely "1/10th of an ounce," you must be referring to its existence very early.

Certainly, a six-month-old fetus (or "unborn child") does not weigh so little.

And it very much resembles any other human being.

So here is a question: Do you support the "right" to infanticide--say, for six-month-old babies--if they should be deemed an inconvenience to their parents?
