Gotta disagree. It’s canonical within the movies that 00 agents are considered quite expendable/short lived. I think it’s an interesting approach to come at the movie in a scenario where that trend has come to fruition. Hadn’t been keeping up with details of the movie, but from other posters I can see that Craig is still the lead. So then does the complaint become that the fictional MI6 in this world doesn’t retire 00 numbers like an NBA jersey? That’s a weird take. Bottom line, new female actor isn’t James Bond and the movie isn’t pretending she is. I don’t see the problem.
There's no reason why they couldn't develop a whole new book/movie for a female 007 like character, they ruined 007. Fortunately there are many old 007 movies I can watch without having to watch any of the new sh!t diverse bond movies.

People often want new content, but heavily criticize any kind of change in the formula. They want the same things over and over just dressed up as something new. It’s boring.
James Bond, Jane Bond, whatever. They will be separate movies. If you don't like a new actor/actress playing the character, watch the movies of the actor/actresses you do.

There are no plans for the actress to take over that role; Daniel Craig will still be returning for the James Bond role. No such "morph" has happened in this case, as has already been explained. James Bond, played by Craig, is still the lead. They are not changing James Bond into a female character. It's a fake concern.
Again, your concerns about such a "morph" have nothing to do with what has actually happened. They are a complete misrepresentation. Maybe actually watch the trailer and/or follow up on the real news involving the film.
My vote is I don't really care. I have never been a huge fan of the Bond franchise although I watched a few when Brosnan was Bond. Never really got into the Craig movies. I prefer Bourne or MI franchise much more if I want to see international spy films. If you want to watch a female lead in a spy film watch Anna. I think the Bond franchise is trying to refresh itself because it is competing against action movies like the ones I mentions and then you have the John Wick and Equalizer type action movies.
Even watching it wouldn't be a big deal. The things he's concerned about aren't even actually part of the movie.
