The NE Patriots have been again cheating this time it was bigger than ever the result the Super Bowl 49 title. The NFL is about to give its final decision that include penalties for the team and to the QB Brady for refusing to cooperate with investigators. It is believe that Brady will be suspended how many games we will see. If NE hadn't deflated their balls probably Brady would not have thrown so many completed passes or he might have thrown couple of interception that would have allowed the Colts to win. IMO the NFL should strip the Super Bowl 49 title away fro the Patriots and declare the Super Bowl 49 as vacant. I hope that NFL gets this post and do declare Super Bowl 49 as vacant.
It will not be fare for the Colts, the Sea Hawks and to most of all tot he fans and to to sports of American Football if the Patriots are allowed to keep the Super Bowl 49 title. The punishment will mean very little if the NFL only suspend Brady, fine the team or penalized them with draft picks because in the end the reason for Patriots to cheat is to get the Super Bowl 49!
WanRen, you and I finally, finally, agree on something, and no, so far at least, I haven't felt the earth come to a stop (so that's a real good sign.) But they did destroy the Colts so much that I'm not sure that soft balls would have changed the win/loss equation in that game, but of course it's the principle of the thing, and we need to prevent other people in the future from cheating.
Its all a probability now if you look at the first half stats the Patriots were able to score 17 points on a 150 total yards of total 29 plays. The Colts 93 yards with 10 plays second quarter. The Patriots dominated the first quarter. By third quarter the Patriots had the momentum and the Colts has lost theirs. There is this probability that the Patriots would not have been able to run 29 plays or made so many complete passes both Brady and the receivers would have not been successful in holding on the ball if it wasn't deflated on the first half thus not giving them the momentum or edge on the second half. The bottom line is the Patriots cheated and Brady's refusal to cooperate with the investigation. The League has suspended Brady four regular season games and penalized the team for $1 million and 1st round draft pick. This is not enough the League should strip the Patriots of the Super Bowl 49 title and declare it vacant because right now that title is tainted I don't see how the Patriots will have the pride to say "we won the Super Bowl 49 and proudly were the ring". Against all evidences people will always deny the truth no matter what and this is what we are seeing how Brady his managers, his supporters including some sports commentators continue to stick to their lies and are going after the League for defending the integrity of the sports of NFL. It is a good thing that this is only a game. In real life we see how devastating it could be the victims are always the good and honest people. The Patriots can still do the right thing and give up the title because this is how True Patriots should act.
All of the Patriots Super Bowl victories are tainted as far as I am concerned. They were caught cheating after the first three and there is evidence that they cheated to get into those SBs also. Cheating for Bill Belichick is a way of life.
the cheatriots should be stripped of all their superbowl and AFC titles under Belicheat. the rams said they taped their practices two games before the superbowl which the media covered up and the panthers GM said the same thing.they were more clever against the eagles obviously not getting spotted it appears. having a deflated football is a huge advantage for a QB who has small hands like Brady does in cold weather games as well as it makes it much more difficult for opposing teams to cause the ball carried to fumble the ball which is why the cheats have led the league in not turning the ball over the last 8 years or so. this is a great podcast everyone should listen to that covers all this in detail. They mention how Goodel appointed himself to be the arbitrater in this case "more ass kissing of Kraft." where in the ray rice case,he appointed an independent investigation. the deflated balls were not a factor in the colts game however they WERE a factor in the ravens game where it was a very close game.They had to cheat their way against the ravens cause they knew they could not beat them otherwise.Brady so badly wanted a fourth superbowl to be mentioned in the same breath as montana and bradshaw as the only quarterbacks to win four superbowls that he was willing to cheat to achive it.Him and Belicheat have tainted football the same way the white sox did baseball in the black sox scandal.
Admittedly so, those of us (NY Jets fans) in the same division as the Patriots love to see them get slammed. That's what my heart says. However, my head says this is soooo blown out of proportion. Obviously a little tongue in cheek, but here's my penalty. Instead of Brady getting suspended for the 1st 4 games, regardless of who they play, instead suspend him for 6 games....against all the division opponents. Both games against the Jets, Bills, and Dolphins.

If you look at the stats Colts vs Patriots for the first half the Patriots were able to make 29 plays for 150 yards while the Colts struggle with 10 plays for 93 yards only. The reason why the Patriots were able to complete so many passes and make 29 plays in the first half is because of the deflated ball. If the balls were standard chances are or as the finding said using the word "probable" the Patriots would not have made 29 plays and the score would have been much closer. It gave Brady the time to get the momentum on his side and warm up enough to go to the second half using standard balls while the Colts has lost all momentum. IMO the worst part is how some prominent people including sports talk show people are defending the cheating Patriots! And they just want to NFL to turn a blind eye on this crime. I love to see Brady and company take the NFL to court this way he'll be forced to testify and cooperate with the investigation an investigation which be refused to take part on the first placed.

Nobody measures the size and inflation of football's in the National Football League. Every winning horse in horse racing is tested for drugs after winning any race???? Players are tested for steroid enhancement's, so why give somebody with the talent of a Tom Brady a break. I think four games is letting him off easy, but, you don't take one of your stars off of the field in the NFL over rules violations. You also don't suspend the coach - which would have been a more appropriate punishment. Let Bill Belichek sit out a season, and lets see how the Patriots fare then? Cheating occurs at all levels, but Brady has been the most accomplished benefactor of a cheating system from his coach and owner, and the league falls down and pays homage to this club ?????? Why ???

He's only been caught for the deflate gate incident and lied about it. We can all assume that he has been cheating throughout his career by using information obtained by Belichick's director of football investigations. Belichick has had some G. Gordon Liddy type creep, Ernie Adams working with him for decades spying, stealing play books and who really knows what else to gain a cheating edge.
