    OK. You're right.

Should we then create false charges as a pretext to negate the will of those who lawfully elected him?

I've bought quite a lot of sand. It's quite useful when mixing cement.

I never made a claim of good or ill. Nor am I into defending claims that I have not made.

Strange then why bother to site his courage when based on the available information it is just as like that he's being a selfish prick?

I admit, you may have a point there.

The point is it's never that simple. There are plenty of acts of great political courage on both sides of that divide. Some times political loyalty trump's principle sometimes the other way around. The one true thing is that you can't steer the ship of state if someone else holds the tiller.

Many not all, I believe the issues you’ve noted are simply the product of systematic rot.

Similar to the ‘culture of corruption’ Edwin Sutherland defined in his study of the Great Depression nearly eighty years ago. He’s the one that coined the phrase, white collar crime.

Essentially, our public policy creates the environment and the behavior follows. We’ve got a strange mix of campaign finance regs colliding with Wild Wild West economics and financial policy colliding with the self interest the environment begets. An imbalance of power.

Until we clean the many contributing factors up it will persist.

Anyway, at their root the political parties do have of semblance of principles or should I say, once had. It’s our fault. We don’t like to get our hands dirty and prefer to wait for the next savior. It’s a sad state of affairs when some of our fellow citizens have learned to utilize—corrupt—our tool of government and have convinced enough of us the corruption is in our best interest.

60 of them voted against Trump with the Syria policy. They all should vote against this impeachment shame.

You gotta love another Trump loyalist, Roger Stone, now on trial.
This is the crowd Trump hangs with. Roger’s girl friend, Kristin Davis, a former Manhattan madam who spent time in jail for running drugs and a prostitution ring, is making the rounds trying to get support for the Roger.
This is crowd “ the” president hangs with.
