Did you see Oprah Winfree hosting a 60 Minutes segment last night? She interviewed a "focus group" of an equal number of pro-Trumpers and anti-Trumpers. The thinking process of the pro-Trumpers was nothing short of scary.

I think the country is divided into thirds as each of the major political parties try to force their agenda upon the rest of us. You do have the left/right, Republican/Democratic, conseverative/liberal divides. But there is an ever growing number of Americans caught in the middle, that aren't that far left or right. That have chosen not to affiliate or identify with either party.

Those in the middle third that has to constantly fight the left and right if Gallup is to be believed has grown to 44% while those who affiliate or identify with the two major parties has dropped. I expect this trend to continue as each party moves further and further left and right. As each party tries to force their views and agenda on the rest of us. We believe in the happy medium, not the extreme left and right.

 

Republicans in House and Senate don't like Trump either.. He's crude, arrogant and insulting. I told you he would alienate them over a year ago. You might want to check yourself as to why you like this horrible man.

I seem to recall that the economy was shedding 750,000 jobs per month, the credit markets were frozen. AIG and Lehman Brothers had collapsed. The Federal government had nationalized Fannie Mae. General Motors and Chrysler were openly talking about bankruptcy and Chrysler was going to stop production and lay everyone off.

On top of that, we were mired in an unnecessary war in the wrong country with nothing to show for it.
