It is quite obvious you like reading comprehension.

It also seems you like a clear understanding of phobias.

Shall I begin posting all the quotes of you calling homosexuality a abomination, a sin, disgusting, and vile?

Might I suggest that some of us defend both?

If you must. That is what it is to me, which is why I do not agree with it. Did you want me to play nice to make you feel better or did you want the truth? I mean, coming out and being truthful about who you are, is important to you, no? Then why would not allowing me to say the truth about your sport be wrong? If you belive in pro creation of the human species or if you have any realtionship within any religion, your act does not stand up. It only stands up in the face of a broken morl compass. Is nature that stupid to where it would make a male and a female to NOT be for each other? If it is in your mind, then hate mother nature, but don't hate me just because I feel the way I do about your act. I just don't accept it regardless of the sloganeering you need to attach to me. Again, that is all.

So what I interpret you saying is the Constitution means absolutely nothing. I mean if you can interpret it in any way convenient, that means it can be interpreted as anything whatsoever, and so the Constitution means nothing at all. By that interpretation, we could give police officers warrant and sentencing powers, including capital punishment judgements and execution (Judge Dredd?). Presidents can serve two 4 year terms, but was that a year on Earth or on Saturn (29.7 Earth years)? Sorry, I don't buy that.

We can, at the very least, look at what the Founders wrote and understand what they meant when writing the Constitution.

Only what the supreme court interpret as matters. That is one of their jobs.

Please, get educated about the actual meaning of the term. You aren't making sense.

The parts of the constitution that give the right to trial by jury is pretty much clear. It's one of the few parts that are, and the 2 term limit on president is clear as well.

The founders could not agree on what the constitution meant. Many in the north wanted slavery banned completely from the start.

ADL defines homophobia as the fear or hatred of homosexuals.

But i have never met anyone who actually fears them. So it really is referring to the hatred of them. I have also never met anyone who hated them.

Homophobia is a figment of peoples imagination.

I swear, all the LEFT does is make stuff up. They HAVE TO in order to feign some semblance of credibility.

If all those guns you think the government can ban are "arms" then no, the People have a right to "keep and bear" them... The Constitution puts on limitation on how many shots a gun can hold.

What constitutes a Jury? Not 12 citizens by the Constitution. Even then the 6th Amendment only applies to criminal prosecutions, cops could do an on the spot civil prosecution and execute the death penalty. See how that works?

Sure there was disagreement on what specifics were or were not in the Constitution, but not what it meant. They were writing it, remember that from Civics class? Show me in any founders writings that the 2A limited citizens to any type of firearm. "shall not be infringed"

It does not matter what the founders wanted at the time. The sitting supreme court can alter the the legal interpretation of the constitution. if original intent is all that matters then all amendments should be abolished.
    - - - Updated - - -

Actually it's the irrational fear, aversion to, or discrimination of homosexuality or homosexuals.

But in theory, if you don't want to violate anyone's rights one could make their own ammunition, make all they want. They would not be engaging in commerce; certinally not interstate commerce, or "hurting" anyone so they certainly would have such a liberty as a "right."

Most people do not have the knowledge or skill to make ammunition. There are many deaths from morons trying to make their own bulletsto save money, and they know nothing of the physics, and aerodynamics involved. There was a man in my area who was arrested for manslaughter because he tried to make his own bullets and his home made ones shot out wrong and swerved and hit and killed another man at a shooting range.

You want the Constitution abolished, what a surprise! Fortunately the Supreme Court does look at the Founders writings along with stare decisis.

    But wait... there's MORE!!

It isn't simply about 'fear'. Here is MORE.

Your 'experiences' are surely limited. Here is MORE that you probably need to know.

An except from an interview with the man who coined the term, "homophobia":
Okay... you just keep on 'thinking' that.

Well lets see what the founders wanted....

1; Jefferson wanted the there to be manditory congressional congresses ever 19 years to discuss changes and possible page 1 rewrites, so that the constitution could always be up to par with the current needs of the people and nation.

2; Madison wanted a central government bank to control all currency, and wanted the institution to be written into the constitution.

3; Washington wanted to outlaw political parties.

Get educated, please; no amount of discussion here can make up for abject ignorance.

I don't believe you. Even so, you have already indicated that 'hatred' IS something you clearly/openly express toward homosexual people (it is right here in your post). It is clear that you don't know what you are saying.

Regardless, you need to know that you have someone communicating with you that WILL contend with your bigotry, homophobia and overall anti-homosexual views. Sorry, you don't get a free pass on tolerance just because you have a problem with gays.

    Welcome to reality.

There needs to be restrictions. Home made bullets can be dangerous when made by people who do not know how to make them properly.

What's your point, and how does your post relate to gun control or homosexual marriage?

What was written into the Constitution is what the Founders conceded to, and those arguments are readily available. The ones that matter are the ones that formed the Constitution, not the ones that fell away.

Yes, and part of the constitution gives the supreme court the power to alter the legal interpretation of the constitution. It does not matter how the founders personally or collective did so.

Lol. What do you have to back up the "home made bullets can be dangerous" theory? I make my own ammo. If you can bake a cake you have the skills to make ammo.

    - - - Updated - - -

Really, what part of the Constution gives the Supreme Court the power to alter the Constitution?

To alter how specific parts are interpreted by the government, yes.

For example, if they wished to, they could rule that all marriage between consenting adults is listed among the fundamental rights, along with life liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, thus making all laws that bar two adults getting married unconstitutional, and forcing all states to remove them from their laws and constitutions. They did in this in the past, ruling that the rights of privacy, interstate and intrastate travel, procreation, choice (abortion), contraception, and family relations were all fundamental rights.
