The last time I checked in the USA, universities are now defining "White" as being of European, Middle Eastern, or North African descent. The category of white has lost all meaning. There are probably far fewer whites left in America than people think.

if people are against illegal immigration, or a hispanic is killed by a true white person = we are brown people that white people hate

if we kill a white, or a black or collect welfare= we will be considered white and added to the white statistic of those collecting welfare

That's caucasian. I think India is also technically included there. I know a lot of people who would consider white to be a subgroup of caucasian just as a square is a kind of rectangle. I think all these catagories are a bit silly honestly.

 

Just like the media in the UK prefers to call Pakistanis "asian". The intended purpose seems to be to try to confuse the public between two groups of people. When most people hear the word "asian", they think of east asians, Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese, who for the most part display very low crime rates and are model citizens. By lumping Pakistanis together with east asians, they can downplay all the social problems from this particular group of people.

Similarly the media and academic institutions are intentionally trying to include as many different ethnic groups as possible under the category "white", to hide the huge demographic shifts being caused by immigration.
